"Adam!" Banner shouted, voice raw.
Nick Fury's face darkened, his single eye flashing. "Natasha! Barton!"
Natasha snapped into action, hurling an electrified baton, while Clint drew his bow, a high-explosive arrow screaming through the air.
James didn't even glance back. A casual wave of his hand unleashed a telekinetic barrier. Buzz! The baton and arrow hit it, ricocheting harmlessly.
"Stay out of this," James said coolly.
The cliff exploded, Adam bursting forth, wreathed in raging antimatter energy, faster than before. "James!" he roared, fist blazing toward him.
James didn't dodge. He caught Adam's wrist, whipping him into the ground with a boom! The earth cracked, shards flying.
Adam sprang up, antimatter energy surging, fists raining like a storm. Bang! Bang! Bang! James blocked each strike with one hand, unmoved, the ground splintering beneath him.
"Not bad," James said. "But not enough."
He shifted, his whip-like kick lashing out. Boom! Adam crashed into an inverted cliff in the mirror dimension, barely stopping.
Fury's face was grim. He turned to Banner. "Now's not the time to hesitate!"
Banner's jaw clenched, eyes flickering with conflict behind his glasses. "Fury, are you sure?"
"Do it!" Fury snapped.
Banner took a deep breath, eyes closing. When they opened, green light flared. "Roar!" The Hulk erupted, his bellow shaking the sky.
James's lips twitched with interest. "Two on one? Bring it."
Hulk leaped, his massive fist thundering down. James sidestepped, appearing behind him, slamming an elbow into Hulk's spine. Bang! Hulk staggered but spun, swinging a haymaker.
James caught it, stopping the fist cold. The shockwave pulverized the ground, but James stood firm, his bio-field inactive in the mirror dimension's safety. "Now we're talking."
Adam rejoined, antimatter energy blazing, flanking James with Hulk. Boom! Boom! Boom! The battle exploded, energy waves leveling the terrain.
On the villa's terrace, Wanda's fingers tightened, scarlet energy crackling, ready to act. Tony squinted, muttering, "This just got real…"
James fought both, effortlessly dominant. His speed, strength, and reflexes outclassed them. Seizing an opening, he slammed a fist into Hulk's chest, hurling him back dozens of meters, then bound Adam with golden magic chains, smashing him into the ground.
"You'll never win like this," James said, shaking his head. "Show me your real power if you want to protect this world."
Adam struggled up, blood trickling from his mouth. Hulk panted, eyes blazing with growing rage. The air thickened, sea winds freezing, waves silenced.
James stood at the center, his black armor's golden veins glowing. His eyes turned molten gold, solar flare-like energy rippling around him, the ground melting beneath his feet.
Adam rose, antimatter energy unleashed, a blue storm swirling, his skin glowing with his core's full power. Hulk's muscles bulged, skin darkening to inky green, veins pulsing with boiling gamma energy, his breath steaming, rocks vaporizing underfoot.
Fury retreated, his eye scanning the battlefield, face pale. "What kind of monster is James?"
Natasha and Clint fell back, Clint's fingers frozen on his bowstring, unable to aim. This wasn't a fight for humans.
Wanda's chaos magic erupted, scarlet storms enveloping the villa, her heart pounding as she watched. Tony's helmet snapped shut, Jarvis warning, "Sir, energy levels are nuclear. Evacuate!"
"No," Tony growled. "I'm watching."
Adam struck first, hands clapping, an antimatter annihilation beam lancing out. James's eyes blazed, heat vision meeting it. Boom! The collision's white light swallowed everything, the shockwave collapsing the cliff, sending massive waves crashing.
Hulk seized the moment, leaping like a meteor, fist raised. James maintained his heat vision, bio-field flaring, and met Hulk's punch with his own. Thud! Time froze for a second.
The shockwave shredded clouds, the sea caving into a kilometer-wide pit. Tony's villa trembled, saved by Wanda's magic.
Hulk's arm cracked, but he grinned, wounds healing instantly, his other fist swinging for James's gut. James vanished, reappearing behind, his whip-kick sending Hulk crashing into Adam.
Adam reacted, antimatter forming a net to catch Hulk. As Hulk charged again, Adam slammed his hands down. "Core Impact!" The ground glowed blue, energy spikes erupting around James.
Hulk descended, fists clasped. "Hulk unstoppable!"
James grinned. "Now it's interesting."
His armor dissolved, revealing his chiseled torso, golden solar patterns glowing. Boom! Pure light and heat exploded from him, evaporating Adam's spikes, engulfing Hulk like a star's fury.
When the light faded, Hulk plummeted, charred, into the sea. Adam's half-burned body struggled, antimatter healing him.
James hovered, godlike. "Continue?"
Adam wiped blood, smiling. "Of course." His body dissolved into pure blue energy, antimatter fully unleashed.
The sea boiled, a gamma giant erupting—Hulk, evolved, wreathed in white steam, eyes crimson. "Hulk! Infinite rage!"
James took a deep breath, hands clasping. "One last strike."
A golden magic array spread, covering the sea, his eyes, chest, and fists blazing. Adam became a blue comet, Hulk leaped.
"Divine Punishment!" James's voice thundered.
Boom! White light consumed the mirror dimension. When it cleared, the sea had dropped, the cliff replaced by a five-kilometer crystalline pit.
Adam knelt, human again, bloodied. Hulk reverted to Banner, unconscious. James landed before them, light fading, and faced Fury, pale in the distance.
"Your turn," James said, eyes glowing, piercing Fury's disguise—a green Skrull.
