The day came way too fast. Rei told them that the best way to get me and my wolf to react only on instinct is to relax me.
Which means only those I can trust and preferably only wolves should be with me for a few hours before the ceremony.
Then only these people should escort me to the place. The place in question should be something that's hit by the moon and more natury.
Which the elder wolf helped pick out. He marked the trail we're supposed to take with his scent. Which seemed to put the vampires at ease knowing that if they need to check on us they know where to go.
Or whatever. All I know is that now it's just a matter of waiting.
"Ok so the path we use to escape is also part of the path we'll use to go to that meeting spot." The elder wolf says.
"Good. You'll lead the way." I say.
"Hold still as I hook this up." Rei tells me.
In order to justify her coming with us she gave an excuse of monitoring my vitals. I'm also seating in a wheelchair.
"How can we be sure this is going to work?" One of the other wolves asks.
"Look if you don't wanna risk it then don't escape. But you better not snitch or reject it when we all make it out while you're stuck with that vampire." I say.
All the other wolves were shocked. I hadn't spoken to any of them. But I also think what I said had a part to play in it.
"She's quite blunt." The wolf from before says.
"She is indeed. But she means well. After all she could have left all of us here." The elder wolf says.
"It's time to move." Rei says.
Pretty soon we were off. Once we were out of the hospital and closer to the woods I started healing myself.
It didn't take long for me to be all healed up.
"Well aren't you fast?" Rei teases.
"When I wanna be." I respond.
"Don't you two start flirting. I might hurl." The elder wolf says.
We both laugh at his comment. Once we got to the point where we break off the path we were taking we made it look like I suddenly shifted.
My plan just in case we got caught was to make it look like I broke free and was running and everyone went to chase me.
That way hopefully they don't punish the other wolves. We ran for a really long time before we got out of vampire territory and into neutral grounds. Which seemed to make the wolves elated.
They started running faster. And I could practically smell the joy and freedom coming off of them.
Looks like just won this battle of the night.

*Third person POV*
*With the triplets.*
"What's taking them so long? They should have already gotten here." Alexis asks.
"One of you go and look!" Heather orders one of the lower ranked vampires.
They wait for another half hour before the vampire that went to see what the hold up was came back.
"They're gone! It looks like she suddenly shifted and they all chased after her!" The vampire rushes out.
"What?!" The triplets roar.
Almost instantly multiple royal blooded vampires were either shifted or running to find the wolves they put a claim to.
Meanwhile the wolves who had thought escape was impossible especially on a night like tonight are stunned.
A deep sense of despair in their stomachs. If they had known they could have actually gotten away they would have never snitched.
Then maybe they too would be out running free instead of trapped with the blood suckers that took their lives from them.
Meanwhile the triplets were looking the most frantically for the wolf they wanted oh so bad. The wolf they stopped killing for.
The wolf that brought them joy and comfort when they were young and had just lost their mother.
The wolf they wanted to love for the rest of eternity and to be loved by but could never get through to.
The wolf who was now gone. And who knows how far she had gotten. But the single thought that haunted them the most was one simple thing.
"What if she finds her mate or just forgets us?!"
