Kaoru becoming Chief was originally supposed to happen half a year later.
However, because of Rin's intervention, she had already been promoted from Vice Chief to Chief.

Princess with Glass Eyes understood.
"So she is from one of the Four Great Families."

She was a turncoat like herself, someone who knew how to adapt to the times.
"How much longer?"
"It will be ready soon."
Princess with Glass Eyes said, "However, are you certain you want to summon a Heretic God like this?"
Using fresh blood as a medium for summoning a Heretic God was a first for her.
