Following the plan set the night before, Gideon divided the tasks among several people. Luke was in charge of equipment and supplies. Lena handled medical care and medicines. Gideon and Norton took responsibility for troop placement and evacuation routes. Hannah was assigned to help Luke with preparations.
"The location is northwest. There's a baron who rules there," Norton explained.
Gideon did not care at all. This guerrilla plan did not involve any nobles, no royal family getting involved, and no baronial troops coming to help.
"I do not care. My plan does not involve them at all."
"If that road is the only route up the mountain, I can be sure watchtowers will be set up at several points along it," Gideon said, pointing to several potential spots where the enemy might build lookout posts.
