Hearing that was enough to make Gideon feel relieved. He offered to talk with her inside the guild, but Milena refused.
The adventurers had already grown to dislike Gideon and his team, so it would be better to discuss it somewhere else.
"There's a park nearby. We can talk there," Milena replied.
Gideon agreed. He turned to the side and told Luke to go on ahead while Lena would stay with him. According to the map, reaching the next city would take at least seven to eight hours of travel.
It was already four in the afternoon, and Gideon worried that if they forced themselves to leave now, something bad could happen along the way at night with the road passing through thick forests.
"Go and find the nearest inn. Take this," Gideon said, handing Luke a few silver coins.
Luke understood and quickly left. Gideon and Lena also stepped out, with Milena and Xia following behind.
