Viviene did not fully know what Gideon was planning, but since her duty was only to carry out Gideon's orders as Baron, she would do so.
She explained that she would count it tomorrow instead, as she had too much work today and her mind felt a little scattered.
Gideon did not make a big issue of it, though he did not want Viviene to delay too long either.
Day turned into night, the soldiers rested, and so did Lena and Lyra. They would continue again tomorrow morning and keep going until everything was distributed.
Gideon met with Lena and the others at the dining table, eating the dinner prepared by the maids. Viviene also sat and ate with them, along with Sheilla and Isabella.
"How many food boxes are ready to be distributed?" Gideon asked.
"About six hundred."
"I see. Then tomorrow we'll have to distribute it in two phases," Gideon replied.
"That's better, to avoid long lines and such," Lena added.
