Chapter-20: the lark family is collapsing
The disappointment in the eyes of Mohini grew more and more and there is no longer any expectation. She sighed and pushed the card away instead she took out 2000 dollars she brought over and placed it on the table and said.
"Originally I came here expecting family affection. But since you want to break the relation I can only be disappointed. I don't need your money. Instead these 2 thousand dollars are my hard earned money. I am giving it to you as filial piety for giving birth to me."
After speaking she signed the document and took a photo of this. As for the reason no one understood but no one cares in this heavy atmosphere. Mohini did not look back and wanted to leave with disappointed expression. But then Lisa spoke.
"That amethyst ring on your finger looks good. Why don't you sell it to me? You don't accept compensation so you can sell it to me for the money on that card which should be around 10 million." Lisa still wanted to put on an act.
It is like she is buying a worthless thing for 10 million so that Mohini can get the money for compensation. Her fans started to praise her for her quick thinking and already forgot that this money and her position belongs Mohini to begin with.
"Okay, since Lisa asked put the ring there and take the money. You don't have to act to get our sympathy. You are so ugly that I cannot even call you my daughter. You can leave after you put the ring on the side." Mary said with a disgusted face.
At that time Mohini looked at the ring on her finger which is actually a fake ring and directly put it on the table with her money and said.
"I don't need the money. This is the one thing that has been with me for the longest. My most cherished thing. Since, my mother asked for this I will give it to you. This can be said that our bond and karma would be broken with this thing."
Mohini did not take anything and walked away. No one stopped her but they spoke sarcastically behind her back. The audience on the live broadcast was even more outraged and felt that Mohini is much better woman compared to Lisa.
Lisa lost a large group of her fans. Mohini that went out walked back all the way to her house. Her boyfriend saw the entire broadcast and knows what Mohini said is true. He knows that some media would definitely come to question him about Mohini later.
After all now Mohini is a celebrity like figure with her good character. Naturally not only him but all the people close to Mohini would be questioned and interviewed. The shares of lark family dropped at an alarming speed.
They just lost their credibility after their actions. Well not many people liked this kind of people. The live broadcast is still on and Lisa quickly snatched the amethyst ring and carefully took it. Some of the audience wanted to know what is so great about that amethyst ring.
Some of the audience speculated that it is an antique that is worth more than 100 million and they are just acting. Some experts that watched the video also said so that it might be an antique that Lisa wanted to snatch.
Actually the ring Mohini bought is a fake thing but for a heroine it would become priceless treasure. After all she is the heroine and she has to give her something valuable before parting ways with her. Usually she has to struggle and die.
But now she don't have to struggle and die as long as she gave up the item that has to be delivered and did not interfere with the heroine she can escape without a problem and even the death.
That is what Mohini is doing right now. This amethyst ring would cover up her problem and chance of death it would not be a problem. She has already expected that the ring would be an antique the moment she bought it.
She still parted with it because she is going to hack into the accounts of the lark family and empty them directly later. So what if they had something like this. They would still lose everything. Mohini cannot keep such a valuable thing.
So she just gave it go gain peace of mind and good impression from the audience. They liked the way she did and was not tempted by Mohini. After Mohini left something big happened, the phones that are blocked by the Mohini before are now unblocked.
Now the phones can get through to the lark family members. As soon as they received the call none of them have good faces. On the other hand the hacker that appeared has left without leaving any trace. It has completely disappeared after Mohini clicked something on her phone.
The lark family was in such a panic that they don't know where to keep their face. Their business stock price fell. The business partners have lost credibility in them. Well they are the people that can abandon their blood relative daughter to keep the daughter of their enemy.
If you don't know may by one day you would fall to fill up the holes dug by the lark family. They don't want to be with this kind of morons that has not moral values and proper understanding of the situation.
It is not that hard for them to come to the conclusion. Also the lark family found that Lisa is already cheating their family and their previous loss of big project to their enemy is caused by her.
"No it is not like that. They forced me to do this. If I did not do that they would tell you that I am not your daughter. I don't want to leave you. So I don't have a choice but to do this kind of thing."
