INT. STARK EXPO – CONTINUOUS FROM CHAPTER 5
Applause echoed through the dome-like hall.
Baymax stood still, arms gently folded.
Nolan gave a respectful nod, then turned to face the crowd — calm, collected, every eye on him.
NOLAN:
"Baymax isn't just for shows. He's ready for hospitals, homes, field emergencies — anywhere humans need help."
He tapped his wristpad.
Baymax's chest projected a glowing 3D hologram — a full human anatomy model with live scanning overlays.
NOLAN:
"He detects disease before it forms.
He can perform CPR, patch wounds, and dispense basic medicine.
His AI isn't complicated — it's intentional.
No war programming. No combat upgrades. Just care."
INT. CROWD – VARIOUS REACTIONS
• MEDICAL RESEARCHER (whispering):
"He's built a real-time diagnostic system… without invasive tools."
• HOSPITAL EXECUTIVE:
"We could put these in every ER. That alone would cut deaths by 30%."
• WEAPONS CONTRACTOR (disgusted):
"Stark's kid went soft."
• PEPPER POTTS (softly, to herself):
"No… he went right."
TONY'S POV – FRONT ROW
Tony crossed his arms, watching silently.
TONY (inner monologue):
My code. My early blueprints. But this... this isn't what I would've built.
He didn't make it to impress. He built it to help. To heal.
Elora… you'd be proud.
A flicker of emotion crossed his eyes.
INT. STAGE – BAYMAX'S FEATURES DEMONSTRATION
NOLAN (to Baymax):
"Show them manual assistance mode."
Baymax stepped to a nearby weighted barbell — over 300 pounds — and lifted it effortlessly.
BAYMAX:
"Emergency lifting assistance activated.
Maximum threshold: 2,000 pounds."
Gasps from the audience.
Then Baymax gently set the weight down and returned to his position.
NOLAN:
"He's soft on the outside for safety.
He has a 12-hour battery backup.
He can recharge via arc node, solar input, or standard outlet."
INT. CROWD – PETER PARKER'S POV (AGE 9)
A small boy with big glasses leaned over the guardrail, eyes wide with wonder.
PETER (whispering):
"…That's so cool."
His aunt chuckled beside him.
MAY PARKER:
"You okay there, future scientist?"
PETER:
"Do you think… he'd let me ask questions?"
INT. EXECUTIVE VIP SECTION – RECRUITERS & INVESTORS
A flurry of notes. Whispered conversations.
STARK INDUSTRIES BOARD MEMBER:
"Why haven't we heard of him before?"
RECRUITER 1:
"We need to talk to that boy."
RECRUITER 2:
"No. We need to buy that boy."
INT. STAGE – NOLAN CLOSES OUT
NOLAN:
"Baymax will be available for licensing after safety trials.
At a reasonable cost.
I want him accessible — not another luxury item behind billionaire walls."
That jab landed. Heads turned. Eyes narrowed. Ears opened.
Tony smirked.
TONY (to Pepper):
"…I think he just called me out."
PEPPER (without missing a beat):
"You earned it."
INT. STAGE – FINAL MOMENTS
Baymax turned to the audience.
BAYMAX:
"Thank you for your attention.
Please remember to drink water and check in with your emotional well-being."
More laughter. More applause.
Nolan gave a short bow, scanning the crowd — not for praise, but for proof.
Had he changed something?
Or had he just lit the first match?
INT. BACKSTAGE – AFTER DEMO
Nolan stepped behind the curtain.
Several executives surged forward — but Pepper intercepted.
PEPPER (firmly):
"Send your offers. Through me. He's fourteen."
Meanwhile, Nolan whispered to Atlas through his earpiece.
NOLAN (quietly):
"…They liked him, didn't they?"
ATLAS:
"Affirmative. Approval rating: 92%. You have made a statistically significant impact."
Nolan smiled to himself.
NOLAN:
"One down. A thousand to go."
