Chapter 166 - 157

The pressure of the Hollow reiatsu caused the ground hundreds of meters away to sink into itself.

Everyone in the Visored army was stunned by the force.

Moreover, the fluctuation of the reiatsu showed signs of continuing to expand.

Not only the Visored felt it-the group of Fullbringers in the Human World also sensed the disturbance.

Ginjō Kūgo, wearing a cross necklace on his chest and waiting for ramen in his room, suddenly stiffened. A terrifying fluctuation pressed in from outside, narrowing his eyes immediately.

"This… what kind of reiatsu is this?"

"This kind of pressure makes your heart skip a beat."

Ginjō felt as if his heart had stalled for several seconds. Even though the source of the power wasn't close, it was still affecting him like this. He couldn't imagine how strong the source itself must be.

Nearby, Tsukishima Shūkurō lifted his gaze from the book in his hand. Before he could speak, Giriko Kutsuzawa's companion Yukio held his Gameboy tighter while Riruka Dokugamine, her red twin ponytails swaying, froze with the doll clutched tightly in her arms. She trembled all over, and even the two small ears attached to her fluffy white hat twitched.

"Who is this… what kind of reiatsu could it be?" Riruka muttered nervously.

Tsukishima finally closed the book in his hand and spoke quietly. "Do you remember that person from last time?"

"You mean the one who caused the reishi storm in the Human World?" Riruka asked quickly, pulling her doll closer against her chest.

"Yes," Tsukishima replied. "This time the reiatsu feels a little different, but it still reminds me of that person. And…" his voice lowered with hesitation, "this reiatsu seems to be mixed with Hollow power."

"How is that possible?" Riruka exclaimed in disbelief.

Everyone knew that Quincy and Hollow powers were completely incompatible. They didn't know the full reason behind it, but in their experience, the two powers could never coexist in one person.

The very idea was as unreal as fire burning underwater.

Even Tsukishima frowned slightly as he admitted, "Indeed, this shouldn't be possible."

Ginjō clenched his fist but remained quiet, resting his chin on his other hand as he thought deeply.

Riruka suddenly spoke again, unease in her tone. "Hey… are we really not going to take action against Aizen Sōsuke?"

Ginjō's eyes narrowed. A sharp light passed through them as he answered. "No. The Shinigami do not deserve our help. In fact, they are the ones we want revenge against."

His expression darkened. "That Substitute Shinigami Badge-it's nothing more than a control device. Jūshirō Ukitake presents a kind face, but he's hiding the truth behind black eyes…"

...

Elsewhere, a woman in a skin-tight suit traced with striking lines that accentuated her form paused as she turned her gaze toward Karakura Town. She had short hair colored blue-black, one side falling over her shoulder like a dark strand of silk. Her clear eyes carried the calm confidence of a mature woman and an underlying air of mystery.

Aura Michibane extended her hand. Spiritual particles in the air shifted instantly, gathering and swirling obediently in her palm. Her slender white arm glowed faintly as the reishi changed shape according to her will.

"Hollow reiatsu?" she said quietly. Her lips curved slightly. "What an interesting kind of power."

She closed her fingers and murmured softly to herself. "Lord Tokinada, patience is all that's needed. Their war is nothing more than the nourishment for your plan. Once you succeed, the position of king will be yours."

She lowered her hand, her voice quieter now. "As for me, I have no favorites and no desires."

...

At the Urahara Shop, Urahara Kisuke, who had been sitting silently before, suddenly stood when he felt the surge of Yuta's reiatsu. His normally relaxed expression sharpened as he looked out toward Karakura Town.

Across from him, Shihōin Yoruichi leaned forward slightly, tension in her posture. "What kind of reiatsu is this?"

Kisuke nodded slowly. "That's Yuta's."

Yoruichi tilted her head slightly. "Have you ever actually seen Yuta fight, Urahara?"

Kisuke shook his head. "No. I haven't seen it."

"Then how do you know he's strong?" she asked.

Kisuke thought carefully before answering. "Maybe it's intuition. The first time he approached me, the hairs on my body stood on end. It was like a sheep realizing a tiger was near. Instinct told me immediately-he's very dangerous."

...

In Hueco Mundo, Aizen Sōsuke sat calmly as he watched the light screen in front of him.

On the screen, Inoue Orihime was healing Chad Yasutora's completely shattered arm. Pieces of his arm had been crushed away to nothing, but beneath Orihime's glowing yellow light, the injury was restored instantly.

The process didn't resemble Kaidō techniques. There were no signs of regenerative granulation-just direct restoration. It wasn't a rewind of time, nor was it a simple spatial return. Aizen's eyes narrowed with intrigue.

"…Gin. Go summon the Espada," Aizen said with quiet certainty, a confident smile playing at his lips.

Ichimaru Gin crossed his arms, his eyes closed to thin slits. "Oh? Why does this girl interest you so much, Aizen-taichō?"

"What do you think?" Aizen asked softly in return.

Gin tilted his head slightly as though mulling it over, then shrugged faintly. "Well… I don't understand."

He left to summon the Espada.

Soon, in the meeting chamber of Las Noches, the Espada gathered and took their seats at the long table. Confusion rippled among them, mutterings breaking the silence.

"What did Aizen-sama call us over for?" Ruby Antenor licked her lips. "Whatever it is, if it involves destruction and battle, I look forward to it."

Ruby had short black hair cut with side bangs, light purple eyes, and remnants of a Hollow mask on the left of her head. Three pink diamond-shaped markings adorned her left forehead. Her outfit was a long-sleeved shirt cut to expose her waist, and the tattoo marking her as the Sexta Espada was clearly visible on her right side.

She had taken her position after Grimmjow had lost one of his arms.

Szaylelaporro Granz adjusted his glasses calmly as he spoke. "It's unfortunate that my brother died in the Human World, but he lost all research value the moment he was defeated."

His words carried no grief, only cold detachment, as if discussing an expired test subject.

Ulquiorra Schiffer pulled out his chair at the Cuarta Espada's seat and sat down. "Lord Aizen is arriving."

Footsteps echoed down the hall of Las Noches. Tap… tap… tap…

The Espada immediately fell silent and adjusted their postures as Aizen entered.

He sat at the head of the table, calm as ever. "Let's discuss how to bring this woman to Hueco Mundo."

As his words settled over the chamber, a light curtain opened at the center of the table.

The projection displayed Inoue Orihime.
