Naruto's furious roar silenced everyone present.
They asked themselves—if they had suffered the same treatment, would they have remained more rational than him? Likely not.
Seeing this, Kaede gave a cold smile and turned to Hashirama.
"So, do you still think the conflicts between us can be resolved with words?"
Hashirama opened his mouth to reply, but before he could say anything, Kaede looked toward Tsunade.
"If you still cling to your ideals, then I'll just have to destroy your hatred!"
Tsunade instantly closed her mouth, glaring resentfully at her grandfather.
"Tsunade…"
He desperately wanted to know why Tsunade also harbored such resentment toward Konoha. He wanted to hear her story.
Taking a deep breath, Tsunade looked expressionlessly at Hashirama and Tobirama.
"Grandfather, Second Grandpa… you must be deeply disappointed in my choice, aren't you?"
Hashirama remained silent, but Tobirama said coldly, "As the granddaughter of my elder brother, there's no way you could have suffered the same experiences as that brat. So what is your reason? If you don't have a good one, then as your elder, I'll have to teach you a lesson today!"
Tsunade gave a bitter smile and shouted, "I truly didn't want to bring this up…"
She turned her gaze toward the terrified Hiruzen and Danzo.
With grief and fury, she declared, "Tobirama, do you know? I am the last living member of the Senju clan!"
"All of my clansmen are dead! Nawaki too…"
"What?!" Tobirama's entire body trembled.
The Senju… gone?
Back then, to prevent his clan from becoming arrogant, he had intentionally kept them restrained, ensuring they wouldn't dominate Konoha. He had left only around thirty elite members to carry on the Senju name.
But now, hearing Tsunade's words… even those thirty, Nawaki included, were gone.
Even Hashirama's expression changed at that.
Tobirama forced himself to remain calm and asked, "What exactly happened?"
Tobirama wasn't like Hashirama—his heart wasn't as forgiving. He had died when Konoha had existed for barely twenty years, and despite being Hokage, his clan still held a very special place in his heart.
Tsunade's sorrow deepened, tinged with boundless rage.
"They… all died on the battlefield. They died at the hands of teammates they trusted!"
She suddenly pointed at Hiruzen and Danzo, shouting,
"Because those two, the ones in power, decided that the Senju clan's existence threatened their sole control over Konoha!"
Tobirama's gaze immediately snapped to his two "students."
Again, you two!
Even Hashirama's face showed a flash of anger.
Konoha had been founded to protect all its comrades, to create a peaceful village where children would never have to go to war. But these two had completely betrayed that dream.
No matter the reason, killing comrades was something Hashirama could never forgive.
Tobirama asked in a hard, deliberate tone, "Is what Tsunade said… true?"
Hiruzen quickly tried to defend himself, "Sensei, I would never do such a thing! Tsunade has been brainwashed by Uchiha Kaede!"
Tobirama's eyes narrowed, shifting toward Kaede.
Kaede chuckled coldly. "Why are you looking at me? I'm not that bored."
The next moment, his Eternal Mangekyō spun into view. "Then let me show you Tsunade's and Orochimaru's memories."
Before Tobirama could react, he was pulled into the genjutsu.
Tsunade's memories were partly speculation and gathered records—she hadn't seen the events with her own eyes. But Orochimaru was different.
When Nawaki died, Orochimaru had been right there.
Hashirama opened his mouth but, seeing no killing intent from Kaede, didn't interfere.
Moments later, Tobirama opened his eyes again—now blazing with barely contained fury.
In a flash, he appeared before Hiruzen and roared,
"You've done well!"
Bang!
With a single punch, he sent Hiruzen flying.
"Ugh!"
Hiruzen coughed up blood but didn't dare retaliate. Tobirama hadn't even struck to kill—if Hiruzen fought back, the consequences would be far worse.
Seeing this, Kaede smiled faintly.
"There's something else, Tobirama. Listen closely.
"Your four beloved students never once placed their own clansmen in dangerous positions, not even during wartime.
"And now, those four clans are among the most powerful in Konoha—controlling nearly every lucrative industry they can."
He then turned to Hashirama.
"So, First Hokage… what do you think? Do you still believe Tsunade is wrong for wanting to overthrow Konoha?"
Kaede gestured toward Hiruzen, Danzo, and the distant Konoha civilians.
"With people like this, do you really think they're worth protecting?"
Hashirama was at a loss for words. After a long pause, he finally said, "They've simply been led by the wrong leadership. I believe…"
But Kaede cut him off with a mocking laugh.
"Hmph! Then there's no saving you."
He turned his gaze to the silent Uchiha Kagami and Shisui.
With a single look, an overwhelming surge of ocular power invaded their minds, showing them the full truth of Hiruzen's and Danzo's actions.
Kaede said, "Well? Do you have nothing to say?
"You served Konoha faithfully for so many years, only to end up like this.
"I'd pity you… but you don't deserve it."
Kagami and Shisui closed their eyes in sorrow. With so much filth exposed, they could no longer look at Konoha the same way.
Kaede's expression cooled.
"I can give you one chance. Come with me.
"Before long, I can truly bring you back to life in this world.
"But if you cling to this rotten Konoha… as clan leader, I'll have no choice but to scatter your souls."
Hearing this, Tobirama barked,
"Kagami, don't be deceived by Kaede's words! No matter how rotten Konoha is, it can be changed. Danzo—we're already back!
"This man is a true demon who doesn't value life. If his schemes succeed, Konoha and the entire shinobi world will never know peace!"
Kaede sneered. "If we're talking about the root cause, it's you who made Konoha this way.
"Your rejection and distrust of the Uchiha led to everything that followed.
"Yes, Hiruzen and Danzo are despicable—but you planted the seed in the first place!"
Tobirama fell silent for a moment, then retorted coldly, "And your actions now only prove that my distrust was justified!"
"Hahahaha…" Kaede laughed loudly.
When he finished, he looked at Tobirama as though he were an idiot.
"This is the difference between the old world and the new. Without your prejudice, would the Uchiha have ended up like this?"
He shook his head. "Forget it. Talking to an extremist like you is a waste of breath."
Closing his eyes, Kaede let killing intent flood the air.
"So… I've decided to annihilate you all."
