""HAHAHA! What a Reward! 28 levels at a time?" – Vivan could not stop his laughter as Trinirak cuddled to his master.

"Let's check what this is?"

His hand hovered for a second before the golden shimmer of his inventory window flicked.

A small ancient parchment slowly manifested. It was weathered and its edges were torn as if it has survived countless decades.

The body of the parchment was bound in glowing blue chains of ethereal code.

The chains were alive as they kept constantly shifting while glyphs of code kept flowing across and rewriting themselves.

As he tried to open the scroll a system window popped up.

Do you want to access the contents of Azerion's diary?

Yes No

His eyes narrowed.

"Azerion? More lore I guess."

Then a *Click* sound echoed as he pressed on Yes.

The chains started shifting in reverse direction as it uncurled itself in a shimmering azure hue.

Hundreds of voices started speaking in unison to his ears. Their language was incomprehensible yet heavy with power.

For a heartbeat the glyphs inside the parchment refused to stay still. Then the words started etching themselves in the air above the scroll.

Each line was like living script. The letters shifted between arcane runes and system translation.

[Second Seal]

Eyes that see beyond veils and lies-

that pierce shadow and silence, shall witness the truth of all things.

[System Translation]

Unique Learned Skill: Eye of Veritas(The vision to observe hidden laws, reveal secrets, and discern weakness) unlocked

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The glyphs of the parchment burned brighter as they wrapped around Vivan's arm before fading into his skin like living tattoos.

His right palm shimmered with faint inscriptions of ancient glyphs as the mark of the Sigilforge appeared.

Then his pupil flickered with azure rings of inscriptions for a moment as he awakened the Eye of Veritas.

Even Trinirak lowered its head in respect and the silent watcher above whispered in trembling fear.

"Was that a lost page of Azerion's Diary? How's that possible? The diary of Azerion the binder is lost for centuries!!"

Vivan checked his new skills and grinned hard.

"OOH! I can create seals and also look into the hidden secrets of others?"

A thought spun in his head.

"Override is a seal placed by system on me right?"

His eyes glowed with uncountable possibilities as the system notified.

[System Chime]

-Gate of the Genesis chamber is opening

-Adjusting thresholds.

With that the chamber started shifting itself around the stone statue of the chamber. Stone bricks on the wall started rotating to unfurl an azure crystalize chamber.

Pentagonal single capacity cells of azure crystal popped out of the walls. Some were blank while the others were holding prisoners inside.

Vivan walked up to all the crystal cells and looked carefully.

A girl with black hair was caged inside the pentagonal cell.

The other cell was holding a young man inside. The crest of Clevon was reflecting on his cloths.

Two more cells were holding prisoners. A dark elf and a unknown species to Vivan as it was a humanoid tree.

All the prisoners were unconscious and suspended inside the unknown fluid of the cells as if the time itself frozen for them.

As Vivan touched on the frontal layer of each cell a small rectangular panel popped out of them and he could see the glyphs on those panels.

"These are coding logic!"

His eyes widened as he was able to read the logic.

"If I tweak the logic, I can free them."

He started with the Clevon heir as he was his first priority.

"Eye of Veritas!"

The azure rings in his eyes spun like clockwork. The once unorganized glyphs started organizing themselves infront of his eyes into clean strings of variables, loops and conditions.

Every flaw, every exit point was laid bare to him.

Then his tattoo of right arm glowed brighter.

"Sigilforge!!"

He extended his index finger as he started inscribing luminous counter-glyphs directly onto the panel.

Each stroke rewrote the cell's binding like injecting new codes in prison's structure.

The silent watcher above was focused on Vivan's activity. She trembled in fear.

"He's altering a seal in real time? That's impossible… only the binder himself could…"

Her line of thought got interrupted with a greater terror as she turned toward the center of the chamber hearing a rustling noise.

[System Warning]

-Unauthorized tampering detected

-Initiating defense protocol

A drag noise echoed in the hall as Vivan turned back and saw the terror for the first time.

The stone statue that stood lifeless so far was vibrating. Hairline fractures raced across the statue's body pulsing like a crimson lightning.

Then the stone shards started to crumble like broken tiles.

The chamber trembled as dusts fell from the ceiling. Vivan's smirk froze as the massive statue stepped out of its podium.

A warrior coded in crimson holding a long sword on his right hand locked his eyes on to Vivan.

Trinirak crouched up and stood between the warrior and Vivan. His mane was releasing extreme heat waves as the gaze was focused on the awakened terror.

[System Chime]

-The Genesis Warden awakened

The genesis warden raised its blade; its eyes were calm and compose.

With a single step, the colossal body of the warden closed the distance between them. And a heavy horizontal strike of the blade rushed toward Vivan.

But Vivan was ready. Like a jolt of lightning he vanished from the point of contact.

A clean side step allowed him to the warden's flank. Then a black coated blue lightning flickered from his blade.

"Precise Slash!!"

[System Chime]

-Mental multipliers activated

-Due to precise slash attack damage doubled.

His strike connected. The warden's right arm split with a deep vertical scar, crimson code spilling from the wound like blood.

The colossus twisted for a second swing. But Trinirak intervened. One burning paw smashing into the warden's back.

The chamber lit in red and blue fury. Yet the warden did not even stagger. The spilled code reassembled, flowing back into the wound until the crimson light sealed shut.

Vivan's eyes widened.

"Self healing? More over this fast? What the hell?"

But the silent watcher was shock to see Vivan's movements.

"After that relentless fight his movement did not slow down? Instead he looks like a different beast. What the hell is this man?"

The warden lunged, raising its sword as an incomprehensible chant rumbled from its core.

Crimson flame ignited along the blade and with a single upward slash it unleashed a wave of burning blades made of flame.

The stones on the floor shattered as the crimson blades rushed toward Vivan.

He twisted mid-air, narrowly dodging as heat scorched across his shoulder.

As he landed in a low stance he pivoted on his foot. Lightning sparked around him and burst of calf muscle helped him to close in the distance through the gaps of the crimson blades.

At the same instant, Trinirak leaped from the warden's flank. All three heads roared as the beast clamped its burning jaws around the colossus's neck.

Vivan matched the timing as his blade sparkled once again with the black coated blue lightning.

"Precise Slash!!"

Their combined strike landed clean.

Trinirak's jaws crushed through the stone as Vivan's lightning charged edge carved across the warden's throat.

For a heartbeat the impossible happened.

The warden's head snapped free spinning in to the air as a torrent of crimson-coded blood sprayed across the chamber. The giant body staggered as it collapsed to one knee.

But the victory was short lived.

The spilled codes of blood changed their arrangement. Streams of red script lashed upward like living veins.

The severed head slowly got dragged by it toward the body.

Then with a snap the head reattached itself and the scar of the wound vanished from its neck as if it was never there.

Vivan's jaw dropped.

"You can come back even from that?"

Trinirak took a few steps back in fear and high above the watcher whispered to herself.

"What is that monster? It is un-killable at this point."

The warden rose again with eyes burning brighter as it was mocking their effort.

But Vivan was a gamer.

"Well then let's try something new."

He took his stance to charge forward but the warden roared inside the chamber.

A circular spell of codes appeared in the air rotating vertically infront of the warden.

Vivan held back his momentum but a massive beam of crimson blast rushed towards him from the warden's spell within a blink of an eye.

Trinirak jumped infront of Vivan to guard him.

*BAAM*

With an ear rupturing noise the chamber vibrated as the blast smashed into Trinirak.

[System Chime]

-Trinirak has taken critical damage

-Cancelling summon

And with that Trinirak's body shattered in to fragments of codes.

Vivan shimmered in tension as the last glimpse of Trinirak's eyes was proud to protect its master.

Vivan felt a sudden rush through his veins. This feeling, this sensation was something that felt like a deep agony buried under years of memories rising up back again.

ANGER.

His eyes flared with coded rings circulating clockwise. He tightened his grip on his sword.

"Eye of Veritas."

The arrangements of code inside the warden's body revealed itself infront of Vivan.

Vivan stepped forward.

The blue fury of the lightning started dancing across the chamber like a frenzy.

Each movement ended with a precise slash.

In the blink of an eye, the chamber echoed with countless slashes. From above, the Watcher couldn't track them, couldn't even count them.

In Vivan's mind only a flash of fury kept circling.

"I will slash you to so many pieces that you can't come back to life anymore."

The frenzy was running wild.

Stone walls and the floor started to crack due to that lightning fury of Vivan.

The warden started bleeding codes from every point of his body but still the frenzy kept going like a vortex of wild blue lightning.

Trinirak's last gaze of pride kept flickering in Vivan's heart.

But the warden was a true monster engineered with cold logic.

The wound started healing once again.

Vivan shouted as his tattoo on the right arm glowed in azure glyphs.

 "No you don't!!"

"Sigilforge!!"

Vivan stood infront of the warden then his index finger started inscribing the codes in thin air with the speed of light.

Vivan drew a circular spell made of codes glowing in azure hue as he placed it on the warden.

[System Chime]

-New seal has been created.

-Give it a name to activate the seal

Vivan shouted in fury as his throat vibrated.

"CodeBreaker!!"

[System Chime]

-New Unique created skill: CodeBreaker (Nullifies active logic and prevent it from executing as originally designed) Unlocked.

The spilled codes that were rearranging themselves to heal the wounds of the warden stopped reverting back.

The warden's eyes got widened.

And Vivan smirked.

"Got you!"

His eyes flickered with same glow of a challenger back again as he took his stance – The front foot forward, back foot pivoted, right arm holding the sword over left arm pointing at the terror infront.

The cold chill ran through the spine of the silent watcher once again.

"What the hell are you?"

…To be continued
