Chapter 109 - Chapter 109 : Shura Field, what a spectacle!

Before she could finish speaking, Tsunade opened the door.

Turning her head, she saw a woman sitting on the couch in the living room—someone who looked vaguely familiar but whom she couldn't quite place.

"You are…?"

The woman in the khaki coat stood up proudly, straightening her back with confidence.

Just as Tsunade was narrowing her eyes in suspicion, Uchiha Hikaru entered from behind.

"She's the kunoichi I mentioned at the pub earlier—Orochimaru's former disciple, Mitarashi Anko."

The atmosphere in the room instantly tensed. No one had moved, yet a heavy sense of pressure filled the space like a rising storm.

Shizune, who had come out to greet the guest, now only wanted to vanish from sight—her instincts screaming to escape before a bloodbath broke out.

"H-ha… haha. You two should catch up. Since we have a guest, I'll go grab a couple more dishes!"

With that, she fled to the kitchen like a rabbit escaping a pack of wolves.

The air between the three remaining people remained frozen in awkward silence.

But that didn't last long—Anko moved first.

With her signature sway and a sultry smirk, she walked to Hikaru's side and hooked her arm around his, pressing herself against him.

Then she looked directly at Tsunade and said with a playful, cutting tone:

"Hokage-sama, from what Shizune said earlier… have you been staying at Hikaru's place for a while now?"

"I've been away on a mission and just got back. Mind catching me up on what happened while I was gone?"

Why did her aura feel suddenly so overwhelming?

Shit…

Hikaru felt a jolt of panic run through him like a bolt of lightning.

Tension coiled through his muscles as he slowly turned to glance at Tsunade, only to see her standing in the doorway, her grip tightening around the doorknob—so tight that the metal groaned in protest.

A split second later, the iron handle snapped off in her hand and dropped to the floor with a loud, echoing clatter.

Hikaru's survival instincts screamed.

"T-Tsunade…?"

He spoke gently, trying to gauge her mood.

But before he could say more, Anko leaned in, gave him a playful peck on the cheek, and whispered, "Chirp~"

The kiss echoed like a slap in the dead silence of the room.

Then she let go, stepped away, and turned to Tsunade with faux innocence in her tone—though a glint of mischief sparkled in her eyes.

"Hokage-sama, I'm sure you and Hikaru have important matters to discuss."

"I won't disturb you. Until next time."

And just like that, she vanished into the woods, her expression one of smug satisfaction.

She'd seen enough.

Uchiha Hikaru wasn't as "honest" as he seemed. First Kurenai, now Tsunade—she wasn't even surprised.

Sure, part of her was disappointed. But she knew from the start that she wasn't going to win this fight.

After Orochimaru left, it was Hikaru who stayed by her side, who let her vent and break down.

That made him… an enemy.

But at least today she'd made her point to the Hokage. Loud and clear.

Humming a tune, Anko disappeared into the night.

Back inside, the kitchen door creaked open slightly, and Shizune peeked her head out cautiously.

"Hikaru… Lady Tsunade… the guest is gone. Should I bring out the extra dishes?"

Her voice trembled as she spoke, the tension still thick in the air.

Tsunade forced a stiff smile, though it didn't reach her eyes.

"Shizune, eat without us. Hikaru and I already ate at the pub. We're going to bed."

Before Shizune could respond, Tsunade spun on her heel and grabbed the back of Hikaru's collar like a misbehaving cat.

He didn't even have time to resist.

She dragged him toward the bedroom while he flailed slightly, unsure whether to fight back or just surrender to fate.

SLAM!

The door slammed shut with a bang that rattled the frame.

Shizune exhaled a long, weary sigh. The tension had finally dissipated—but the atmosphere earlier had been pure hell.

In the bedroom, Tsunade hurled Hikaru onto the futon.

"You bastard!"

"You pervert!"

"Hikaru, you're such a damn jerk!"

She plopped down hard, legs splayed, her voice cracking with a mixture of sobs and curses. Tears shimmered at the corners of her eyes as she kicked off her heels.

Thud! Thud!

Both sandals flew across the room and snapped the remaining two legs off the already-damaged bed.

Hikaru flinched.

Thank the gods she didn't throw them at me… If she had, he might've needed Susanoo just to block the impact.

Watching her cry like that, Hikaru felt helpless. There really wasn't anything he could say.

She'd been the one wronged—first drugged by Anko, then tricked while drunk.

This is a mess…

But he was a man of responsibility.

"Alright, alright—stop scolding me. If you keep going, I won't hold back..."

His exasperated voice drifted over to Tsunade, making her lift her tear-streaked face.

She stared at him, her anger tempered by sorrow… and something else.

Did he lie to her?

Was it really just a fluke?

Or was it the pride in Anko's eyes that haunted her most—that look of triumph, like she had won?

Tsunade stood and walked over to Hikaru, eyes narrowed like a predator locking onto its prey.

"How many times has this happened before?"

"Huh?"

Hikaru blinked, startled by her tone—and her aura.

"I said—how many times?"

Her voice was sharper now. Dangerous.

He hesitated. Then, slowly, he answered.

"I… I can't remember…"

CRACK!

She slammed her hand onto the mattress beside him—hard enough that the bedframe split further with a jarring crack.

The tears on her face were gone now, replaced by the cold fury of a woman scorned.

"How many times, Hikaru?! At most?"

"...Seven?"

Tsunade's expression was eerily familiar now—like the look he'd given enemies before charging into battle.

Without another word, she tore off the white bandage tied around his waist.

"Tsunade—wait! Calm down, don't be rash—!"

But her determined expression only deepened.

This was the legendary fury of the Shura Field.

And the only way to survive… was to fight back.

Not long after—

Hikaru: ○(^ Pan^)っ▄︻┻┳═一...

And so, a new kind of battlefield was born. A world where only Shizune couldn't sleep soundly—and the next morning, she'd have to clean two rooms.
