Chapter 65 - CHAPTER 65

Vic strode forward, blocking Yuno's path. He sneered,

"Hey… you that Quincy? I heard even one of the Shichibukai couldn't stand up to you."

Yuno had already overheard their earlier conversation, so he knew why this fool had shown up.

  "Idiot."

His tone was calm, but his raised hand crackled with white-blue lightning.

  A flash.

The bolt pierced Vic's forehead before the man could even gasp.

Yuno didn't pause. He stepped past the collapsing body, moving on as murmurs of shock swept the street.

  "O–One strike?!"

"That was Vic! He wasn't weak!"

"Parahuman… no, a Logia lightning fruit user. That's terrifying."

One strike to kill Vic — no wonder he had the strength to face a Warlord.

  …

Yuno ignored the whispers and approached a lavish building ahead.

A massive golden plaque hung above its doors, glowing under the sun: Lao Auction House.

Inside, the grand hall's central counter was flanked by glittering treasures. Behind it stood two men — one burly with a scowl, the other thin and pale.

The burly man barked, "Who are you? This is the back entrance! No one comes in here without permission!"

Yuno didn't even need to sense their strength — they were small fry.

"Call your boss. You're not qualified to talk to me."

The big man froze, then bristled. "What did you say—"

"Shut up, you idiot!" The skinny man smacked his partner's face with a sharp slap.

  "What the hell, you—"

"Are you a pig?!" the skinny man nearly wailed. "That's the guy who defeated our young master!"

The burly man blinked in confusion while his partner, pale with fear, bowed to Yuno.

"Sir… please wait, I'll get the boss right away—"

"No need." Yuno's gaze shifted to the far side of the hall. "He's already here."

From the shadows strode a burly figure in a pointed hat, wearing a tight suit patterned with lightning bolts — a presence that radiated battle intent.

Upon seeing him, Yuno immediately recognized him — Lao G, an executive of the Donquixote Family.

Although Lao G didn't have the frail, hunched figure he had in the original manga, Yuno still recognized him instantly.

"Looks like I've got some luck…" Yuno muttered. He hadn't expected to encounter a Donquixote Family member so quickly.

Lao G had rushed over after sensing a powerful presence through his Kenbunshoku Haki.

Upon seeing Yuno — face hidden by a black-and-white mask — Lao G's pupils constricted. His voice trembled:

"Q-Quincy… Quincy? Why are you here?"

Lao G's face was filled with shock. Why would Quincy be here of all places? Was he after the Young Master?

The Donquixote Family already knew their leader, Donquixote Doflamingo, had been defeated in the North Blue.

They knew of the Quincy better than anyone else. Seeing Yuno here could only mean one thing — he might have tracked them down intentionally!

"Haha, so I'm right! You're a Donquixote Family member, aren't you?" Yuno laughed. "You have Doflamingo's contact info, don't you? Contact him for me."

Lao G's eyes narrowed as he forced down his fear. "If you want the Young Master's exact location, I won't tell you."

Even in the face of overwhelming pressure, loyalty to the Young Master came first — even if it meant dying.

"Don't worry. I won't harm my partners," Yuno said calmly, sitting down casually.

"Partners?" Lao G's expression tightened. "What do you mean?"

Yuno crossed his legs and said coldly, "Just contact Doflamingo for me. Don't ask too many questions."

As he spoke, his Haoshoku Haki (Conqueror's Haki, One Piece) erupted across the auction hall.

In an instant, most people collapsed unconscious.

Lao G, bearing the brunt of it, felt a crushing weight on his mind. His breathing grew ragged, and resistance became impossible.

After a moment's hesitation, he pulled a Den Den Mushi (One Piece transponder snail) from his pocket and dialed.

He reasoned that as long as he didn't reveal the Young Master's location, the Quincy couldn't reach him.

And if "partner" meant what he thought it meant… then making this call might even be the right move.

The snail rang a few times before a voice answered — Diamante, another Donquixote executive:

"Hello, this is Diamante."

Yuno took the Den Den Mushi from Lao G's hand and said into the receiver:

"I am Quincy."
