THE PARTY
The weekend went like that Babe and Andrew spent more time together since it would be Monday tomorrow, while Sophie also did the same with her cousin (Jake) who just returned, the weekend went smooth on both sides.
Jake and Babe were also in touch which each other.
☆AT THE DAVIS ESTATE☆
The room was filled with laughter as they eat the dinner prepared by Aunt Mercy and the other cooks
"Andrew, your mum and I will be travelling on Thursday we are going on a business trip to New Zealand for one of our branches there and we are also going to spend our annual anniversary there as well " Mr Davis said as took a sip of the wine
"Okay Dad" Andrew said
"mum can I go to Lavide( his mother unisex fashion house) tomorrow after school to spend more time with you before you go" Andrew said pleading
"Sure you can meet me there" his mother said while babe was busy chatting with jack
"Uncle, Aunt, can Andrew and I go to a party tonight" babe said raising her head from the phone
"You should ask him instead" his dad said
"You know I don't like gathering" Andrew said
"Please we won't be long, I promise" Babe pleaded
"Okay, cause we are not staying long" he said
"Perfect, I bought you a suit when I was coming" she said
"Okay, what time are we going" he asked
"7:00pm" she replied
"Okay, let's go get ready it already 6:48pm" he said as head upstairs after dinner, after a while he came out.
"I'm done" he said as I walked downstairs, all eyes on me
"Look at my handsome son" his dad said
"Of course, I got from both of you" Andrew said hugging both his parent
"You look... handsome" Babe said
"Thanks guys" he said
"Well, let get going" babe said as they both head outside after bidding their goodbyes
ANDREW'S P.O.V
After a long drive, we finally got to the venue, it was a big hall, actually it was a birthday party by some rich kid, as we got to the entrance, Babe adjusted my suit, after which we head inside hand in hand and there I saw Bruce and his gangs who seemed to be discussing something. Babe got a seat for us, then left saying she was going to get refreshments for us, then I notice every one was wearing a mask, and there was a lady/girl staring at me when Sarah arrived with two mask and 2 glass of wine
"Here you go" she said as she fixed the mask for me while I did the same.
The party was going well, Sarah was with a guy who I assume was her course mate because he gave me a small nod, a girl walked up to me she was different from the one who was staring
"Hey, I'm Rose, and you are Andrew the scholar guy right" she said
"Okay, do i know you" I said
"Well, no, I attend Linton college, I wasn't around for the first week of resumption, but I've heard so much about you from Mike and the rest and you obviously don't know I'm your seat mate" she said
"How do you even recognize me" I asked
"Actually Ella and Mike were here a while immediately you entered, I was with them unfortunately you didn't see them, they told me about you" she said as I stared at her for a while
"You must be Irish" I said "I often hear them discussing a girl named Irish" I added
"More like them, actually my name is not Irish but they enjoy calling me that" she said after a short chat the host said there was a dance challenge, he explained the rules, you'll switch partners until the music stopped and each round there would remove some partners, and there will be prize for the winners she decided we dance as she dragged me to the stage where we took our position, babe was there with her friend, I spotted Bruce who does not recognise me because of the mask, we dance for a while, Switched partners until I was with Babe, soon switched to a girl, the one who was staring at me before, the song end some people were disqualified, until we were three, Rose and I, Babe and her friend, the girl and a guy, Bruce, we started the round we switched partners again and I was with the girl again while Babe and Bruce were also disqualified leaving rose, babe's friend, the girl and I, this time we didn't switch partners, but there was something about this girl she seems familiar her hair down to her back, I couldn't shake the feeling that she was familiar she reminded me of Sophia my hands finding it familiar place her waist though she was wearing a mask but my heart recognised her, the familiar Aura, eyes, waist I don't know this feeling but my body was starting to react to something or someone I'm not sure of, the way she looked at me the way she touches my hands it was burning something in me, soon the dance was over and we were declared the winner we were given a couple set which included rings, chain, bracelet and some couple item and a ticket to a movie premiere which was going to be out in the next 2 month but most ticket have been sold out but luckily Grace and I already had our ticket since we were going to watch the movie, and now I have another extra ticket, after everything we left the stage she stared at me then at the ticket in one of her hand then at the couple item in the other, she then gave me her phone, I stared at her for a while before realising she was asking me to input my number, silenced hung in the air as we just stared at each other like the world around us stopped
"okay" she said as she turned her back and walked away without giving anything, sure I didn't need any of them I don't need to brag but I could get any of those I already had the ticket, and the couple set, I'm not in any relationship so I don't need it, I thought to myself and went straight to the men's room.
