After Ahmed and Misaki said their goodbyes to Mr. Haruki, Mr. Haruki stepped toward Ahmed, placing his hand on his shoulder and saying with deep gratitude:
"Ahmed, thank you for making me see my daughter's smile again... Please, take care of her."
Those were Mr. Haruki's last words before they departed.
Ahmed and Misaki boarded the plane, beginning a new journey toward Sana'a. Only five hours remained until the set deadline, and after they arrived, only two hours were left to prepare for the next mission. They took a taxi to the police station in Sana'a, where Ahmed began to explain his plan to Misaki.
Ahmed said in a serious voice:
"Misaki, I will start a fight with you in front of the police station. They will take me inside, handcuffed, and there I will use a small tool your father gave me: a temporary smoke bomb. I'll set it for seven minutes, and I'll take medicine that will prevent me from losing consciousness. While they are busy with me, you will tranquilize the guard at the gate, then enter, film everything. After that, you'll free me from the handcuffs, and we'll document the evidence and get the imprisoned children out."
Misaki looked at him with astonishment and said:
"And how will you tranquilize the police when you're handcuffed?"
Ahmed smiled a calm smile and said:
"Don't worry, everything is planned."
Misaki was impressed by his intelligence and felt proud that he could think with such precision under this pressure.
They approached the station building, and Ahmed and Misaki began to act out a fight in front of the police. Ahmed intentionally raised his voice and pretended to be agitated until an officer came out to inquire about the noise. At that moment, Misaki advanced toward the gate, and with a swift movement, she neutralized the guard without causing a commotion, then went inside.
As for Ahmed, he was taken into the station with his hands cuffed, but after a few minutes, the smoke bomb went off, distracting everyone, and Ahmed was able to cleverly exploit the situation. Meanwhile, Misaki had begun to film the children held in the cells and gathered evidence of the corruption inside the station. The children's wide eyes shone with new hope after Misaki whispered to them reassuringly:
"Just be patient... we'll get you out of here."
After Misaki met Ahmed again inside the station, she freed him from his cuffs, and together they completed the documentation of the evidence and freed the children. Then they withdrew quietly to the taxi that was waiting for them away from the building.
On the road, silence enveloped them, but in their eyes, there was something bigger than just a successful mission: there was an unspoken acknowledgment that they had become partners in danger... and in destiny.
