The moment I stepped outside, the cold night air hit me like a slap. My senses sharpened further, my wolf pacing restlessly within me, urging action. Chaos greeted me immediately. Alphas from different packs had already shifted into their wolf forms, surrounding a massive grizzly bear in the clearing.
The bear was unlike anything I'd seen before. Its size was monstrous, far beyond that of an ordinary grizzly. Its matted fur was streaked with mud and blood, and its eyes glowed with a feral rage that sent a chill through me. Every movement it made was pure aggression, swiping its massive claws at anything within reach, and its guttural roars seemed to shake the very ground beneath us.
"What in the world…" I muttered under my breath, trying to make sense of the situation. Before I could gather my thoughts, a loud whooshing sound caught my attention.
