Chapter 32 - Chapter 32: Testing the Gold Silk Gloves.

Chapter 32: Testing the Gold Silk Gloves.

Xue Ling lifted the gloves and found them cool and soft to the touch, yet they felt rather heavy. This was likely due to the silk mixed with black iron wire. She toyed with them for a moment, then tried them on. They felt perfectly fitted, as if Fang Bie had copied them from her own hand.

It seemed Fang Bie had been toiling in the forge every night for days, but Xue Ling had never been inside. After all, Fang Bie was wearing only a pair of shorts, which seemed awkward.

So, was he copying them from his own hand?

Xue Ling turned her hand over, feeling it move very smoothly. Aside from a slight heaviness, there was none of the stiffness that came with wearing iron gloves.

Xue Ling then pulled out a small dagger from the bedside table. It was an ordinary iron dagger, reasonably sharp, but a common weapon.

The girl gritted her teeth and lightly slashed the back of her hand with the dagger.

She felt as if the interlocking golden glove effortlessly distributed the dagger's force across the back of her hand, leaving her feeling nothing.

Xue Ling then increased her force, but still couldn't scratch the glove.

Surprised, she stopped using the dagger's blade and stabbed it directly into her palm. Again, even with minimal force, the dagger couldn't penetrate the golden glove at all.

Fang Bie's forging abilities truly surpassed Xue Ling's own imagination.

The girl was now completely convinced of the glove's quality. For ordinary weapons, these golden gloves were truly impenetrable. She no longer had any doubts. She reached out and grasped the dagger's blade, channeling her internal energy while gripping the hilt with her left hand. As they combined their combined strength, she twisted the blade completely, without a single scratch on her hand.

"Remarkable," Xue Ling exclaimed.

She glanced at the remaining golden glove left on the table. According to the Dragon King's Palace's prices, this set of golden gloves could fetch three thousand taels of silver. And just like that, Fang Bie had truly given her a piece of armor for self-defense.

Is he really that carefree?

Or is it because he considers her one of his own?

As the girl pondered this, a knock sounded quietly outside.

"Who?" Xue Ling asked.

Fang Bie's voice came quietly from the other side: "It's me."

Xue Ling bit her lip, glove in hand, and trotted to Fang Bie to open the door. The young man behind the door had a handsome and cold face. He glanced at the gold-threaded glove on Xue Ling's left hand and nodded. "Have you tested it?"

Xue Ling hummed.

Fang Bie shook his head and said, "I'm not testing ordinary weapons. This gold-threaded glove is made of a golden silk and black iron alloy. Ordinary weapons will definitely not be able to cut it. You need to test a weapon of at least the level of your Rolex."

Xue Ling looked at Fang Bie: "That's not good."

The Rolex was Ning Huaiyuan's personal weapon, and it was rarely shown to the public. After all, as a trump card and a trump card, if others saw it, they would most likely kill him to silence him.

Or he would be killed by others.

That's why Xue Ling could use it for self-defense without worry. The advantage of the Rolex is that it's incredibly difficult to defend against, and it's incredibly sharp, making it very adept at sneak attacks. This soft sword, in particular, is controlled entirely by internal force, so its hardness and softness have an extremely high upper limit.

Even though Xue Ling hasn't mastered the Rolex to perfection yet, it's essentially a weapon he can use for a lifetime, unless one day he reaches a state where he can injure people with even a flying flower or a leaf without a sword.

Fang Bie shook his head and held out his hand: "Give it to me."

Xue Ling and Fang Bie had been together for a long time, and they already had a basic understanding. After Fang Bie spoke, Xue Ling obediently took off the Rolex and the gold-wire gloves and handed them to Fang Bie.

Fang Bie studied the young man for a moment, then donned his gold-wire gloves and Rolex. Then, with a flick of his wrist, a silver light emanated from his wrist, like an invisible sword. Fang Bie turned back and flicked his wrist gently. Xue Ling saw a streak of white light burst out like a long rainbow, reaching a distance of ten feet and striking a rock in the courtyard, creating a hole through it.

Fang Bie then flicked his wrist again, and the sharp edge of the Rolex danced like a silver snake, instantly slicing the rock into pieces. The young man then sheathed his sword, and the Rolex slipped neatly back into his wrist, curling neatly into a small ball.

Xue Ling was stunned.

She had never imagined that this unassuming Rolex could produce a ten-foot-long sword. Although the attack was only a momentary one, Fang Bie's flick, dance, and sheathing of the sword were not only fluid, but the transitions were completely unprepared.

The performance of the Rolex in Fang Bie's hands was not only incomparable to his own, but even in the hands of its original owner, Ning Huaiyuan, it was nowhere near as sharp.

Xue Ling had been with Fang Bie for so long, yet she had never witnessed Fang Bie's true strength. He had previously killed Ning Huaiyuan with a steel wire formation, and the Red Fox with an unknown hidden thunder weapon. The young man never used his true martial arts, perhaps because he was afraid or unwilling to do so.

But even this fleeting glimpse of his power left Xue Ling feeling overwhelmed and inadequate.

"Are you that powerful?" Xue Ling muttered.

Fang Bie smiled, "So you've always thought I was insignificant."

With this, he flicked his wrist again.

This time, the Rolex sword didn't emanate like a silver snake, as it had last time. Instead, it coiled and surged out. Xue Ling knew this was because the movement wasn't executed correctly, and his internal energy wasn't flowing. In this state, it was extremely easy to injure himself, especially if he cut his fingers. Everything was so accurate.

This was the biggest obstacle currently hindering Xue Ling's practice of the Rolex.

Because this Rolex is simply too dangerous.

In front of Xue Ling, the silver snake formed by the Rolex's sharp edge immediately entangled the gold glove on Fang Bie's hand. There was only a sound of metal clashing, and flames flew up at the same time. But Xue Ling looked at Fang Bie's hand, which was surprisingly unharmed.

Fang Bie nodded in satisfaction, and with another shake of his hand, the silver snake immediately tucked into the iron box of the Rolex.

Then Fang Bie took off both the gold glove and the Rolex and handed them to Xue Ling: "The gold glove can block ordinary-level Rolex slashes, but if you want to infuse your internal energy to self-harm, I won't do this test."

Xue Ling blushed slightly, and then looked at Fang Bie: "You are obviously more powerful, why do you want to use it on me?"

The girl asked seriously .

Fang Bie smiled: "Because I don't need it."

With this, Fang Bie turned around: "Hurry up and pack your things."

"There is a mission today."

"What mission?" Xue Ling asked from behind Fang Bie.

Fang Bie did not look back.

"Master Kong Wu."

"Entering Luocheng."
