DREAM'S KEEP
A hazy and alluring figure with no bounds of physical construct gazed at a bookshelf floating mid-air with no resistance to its surroundings. Its corners subdued physically to the outcore, as if its wooden restraints would flow away at any given node of time.
The hazy figure of compact yet fleeting colours that far exceeded the count of a dozen held a physical figure in its illusory hands without engulfing it. The book was engraved with some letters on the face of the cover, the hardcover seemed like it was filled with constant rain and twilight. The cover's title read as 'Caroline Havens: At Work'.
The hazy, alluring and mesmerizing figure raised the book and pushed it inside the shelf's empty spot. On the right side of the spot were empty slots which belonged to the future, and the slots on the left had the engravement of the past.
There was one book just on the left representing '0', or the portal between negatives and positives. The hardcover of the book seemed as if it was filled with calm grasslands, flowing sunlight, dreamy world, castle, balloons. The title caught the eye immediately, it was 'Song of Pen'.
Song of Pen... Caroline Havens...

Suddenly a book floated in mid-air behind the hazy figure, which appeared out of thin air beneath the layer of behemoth haze and fog. The title written on the book was 'Liminal'.
The hazy, alluring, mesmerizing and dreamy figure looked back, into the abyss. He...

The dream broke. A child, seemingly at the age of four, jolted awake, tears slowly burning on his cheeks as he struggled and locked his gaze onto his mother. He hurriedly hugged her, slowly forgetting what he saw.
