A minute later, the eight tailed beasts lay on the ground, restrained and unable to get up.
"Hey, Fox, why didn't you say so earlier?" Shukaku groaned, frustrated from being beaten again and now completely immobilized.
Kurama opened his eyes and looked at the others with a "you're an idiot" expression.
The other tailed beasts understood—Kurama had probably been scared after the fight.
They felt the same. The gap in power wasn't small. Who could take down a tailed beast with just one taijutsu punch? It was ridiculous.
"Yo, everyone. Good afternoon," Ren greeted casually.
"Bastard!" Shukaku snapped first, even though he had the fewest tails.
"I'm still reasonable. Your future home is here. You'll be the guardian beasts of the Land of Whirlpools, serving it. You'll even have time to wander outside," Ren explained. He didn't demand chakra immediately; aside from Kurama, no tailed beast would give him any.
Kurama shared a little chakra. It slowly spread, surrounding the newly established village of the Land of Whirlpools. He set up a sensory barrier over the land, sensing malicious intent. Such a barrier could almost completely prevent spies.
"Good," Ren said, jumping onto Kurama. He gave him a pass to freely enter and exit the barrier.
"Hey, you damn fox, are you betraying us already?" Shukaku shouted as he saw Kurama going toward humans.
But Kurama breaking the standoff also broke the other tailed beasts' mental defenses. They didn't want Kurama to come and go freely while they were stuck here forever.
"Kurama, you can go wander, but don't harm anyone from the Land of Whirlpools," Ren said earnestly.
"Hmph," Kurama snorted. Humans? Why would he bother with them? That would only bring trouble.
"Hey, you damn fox!" Shukaku was furious and wanted to teach Kurama a lesson.
"Human, you brought us here. What exactly do you want?" The Two-Tails asked nervously. They knew what tailed beasts were originally.
"To develop the Land of Whirlpools, and to become stronger," Ren answered.
"You mean… to revive that guy?" The Eight-Tails shouted in anger.
The other tailed beasts remained silent. They couldn't beat Ren. If he really wanted to do that, there was nothing they could do.
"Revive? Do you think I have the Rinnegan? Of course not," Ren said. He didn't mention taking their chakra yet; he would wait until he earned their trust.
The tailed beasts fell silent. They couldn't think of any other way. Taking their chakra? Ren already had more chakra than they did.
"Alright, from now on, stay here. Just like Kurama, you'll be fine," Ren said, clapping his hands.
Indeed, after the first one, the other Tailed Beasts were thinking whether it was worth working for Ren.
After finishing the ideological education for these Tailed Beasts, Ren left.
Kurama didn't go far either and wandered around the Land of the Whirlpool, occasionally scaring the Uzumaki and Hyuga ninjas.

"Lord Ren, the head of the Shimura clan has come to pay a visit. They want to join the Land of the Whirlpool," a man from the Hyuga clan reported to Ren.
"Tamura, tell them we won't see them," Ren replied. He didn't accept just anyone. If he accidentally let someone like Danzo join, it would only bring trouble.
"Yes."
"Also, continue expanding the territory of the Land of the Whirlpool inward," Ren instructed.
Taking advantage of the current situation where everyone was still part of the ninja clans, he wanted to mark the land quickly.
Later, the Land of the Whirlpool would get the best locations.
"Understood. Also, the head of the Yamanaka clan has come to visit. Should we send them back?" Hyuga Tamura asked.
"Invite them in," Ren nodded.
In the reception hall.
The head of the Yamanaka clan met the first person to create a ninja nation.
He was already amazed by the development of the Land of the Whirlpool. Farmland, roads, various houses—it had everything.
The Uzumaki and Hyuga ninjas here were full of energy, a stark contrast to the main Hyuga clan. Now, even a dog would dare to bully the Hyuga main family.

Soon, the girl from the Uzumaki clan entered the reception room, serving tea to everyone before standing behind Ren.
"It's like this, Lord Ren. You founded the Uzumaki nation and welcomed other ninja clans. We wish to join the Uzumaki nation." Inoue Yamanaka thought for a moment and spoke directly about the purpose of his visit.
"The Uzumaki nation welcomes you all. However, in our nation, the focus is no longer on clans but on the nation as a whole. Do you understand what I mean?" Ren smiled warmly at him.
"Of course, we understand."
"The Yamanaka clan must hand over its ninjutsu. But don't worry, you won't lose out. Those who join the Uzumaki nation can freely study the ninjutsu of both the Uzumaki and Hyuga clans."
Originally, Inoue Yamanaka had planned to leave immediately, but hearing that he could learn the Uzumaki and Hyuga ninjutsu made him hesitate.
Ren had developed countless techniques, and combined with the Uzumaki's sealing arts, they were legendary on the battlefield.
