Characterization

Ava Mendes: A young, beautiful lady who would pass as a runway model, lost her father at a young age, now lives with a sick mother, she does manual work to try and provide for herself and her mother, and enters into a contract marriage with Lucas Ethan to help get money for her mother's treatment.
Sharon Andrew: A beautiful model, childhood friends with Lucas Ethan, in love with Lucas Ethan, and wishes to marry him, but is left heartbroken when she discovers how much Lucas hates her, but she has no idea what she did wrong.
Plot Overview
At the verge of losing out on a billion-dollar inheritance due to not being married yet and not wanting to get married to his childhood friend Sharon, who he now despises, he had no other option than to go into a contract marriage with Ava.
Both faced a strong opposition from the Lucas family, but they stood strong and for once Lucas stood up to his father when he discovered her has fallen in love with Ava.
Every other person backed down, but not Sharon; she made it a goal to see that she separate the two couples and take her place as Lucas's wife, and she finally succeeded.
Exposition
Ava dropped out of school to help take care of her sick mother. She was willing to do any work to make sure her mother gets better. Never had she imagined going into a contract marriage, but she had to to get her mother the required treatment.
Inciting incident
Sharon was able to separate the couples by setting up Ava with another man and was able to convince the Ethan family of Ava's infidelity, which they all bought into, causing Lucas to divorce a pregnant Ava.
Ava lost her mother and moved far away to start life anew with her unborn child. She grew in the ladder of business and has been a hard-working and dedicated person. She landed a Managing Director position in a fast-growing company.
Eventually, her past crossed again with Lucas, but she had already decided never to love anyone but her son alone.
Climax
Lucas and Ava reconnected, changed a lot, and with time, Ava's high wall came crumbling down as her love for Lucas returned, but Lucas was already married to Sharon.
Will the truth eventually came out about how Sharon set up Ava, leading to their previous divorce?
