Just then he heard two voices. One was the usual soft, feminine voice of the spell.
[You have recieved an Aspect legacy, Fragments of the Final Wall.]
And the other was the same spine curling voice he heard earlier.
"Keep him safe, Fourth Wall."
The fourth wall in him crackled slightly in response, but didn't speak up.

Caster was overwhelmed. So much new stuff happened in such a small amount of time. He got an aspect legacy, and even met a god-like being, only 2 months into the dream realm. It was unreal stuff.
Before he even noticed anything in the real world, he instantly dove into his soul sea.
It shocked him.
It had changed a lot.
There was now a near endless library sitting at the edges of his peripheral vision, similar to how sunny had his shades.
"Is that my domain?"
Well, that was something to worry about later. He summoned his runes for the aspect legacy.

"The fourth wall is gone from my ability list and now is a part of the wall list. I guess I had access to part of my aspect legacy before I even unlocked it. Perhaps to save me from corruption of sorts due to transmigration? In any case, what matters is that now I have to collect these fragments of the final wall apparently, and the clue for the next one is... communication?"
Caster shook his head and went back out from his soul sea.
He was in Effie's lap and It was uncomfortable.
'Her legs are rock hard...'
"You up finally? Why did you even leave my hut if you were going to fall asleep anyways?"
Caster get's up from her lap and sits next to her on the groud.
"Don't ever force me to sleep with-... next to you, again. I'm like 90% sure I broke a bone or two."
"What? Don't be so overdramatic, unless you want me to break more bones."
Caster was silent. He would have normally joked back but his thoughts were way more focussed on the exchange with Demon King of Salvation.
A god!
'Kim dokja said, 'If he was a god, he'd be the most incompetent god.' Does that imply that he isn't one? Perhaps he's not divine, but sacred? No even those are called minor gods. But he couldn't have been supreme, not if he ruled a place like what I saw earlier.'
Effie could be seen saying something but Caster, didn't reply to her. His mind too focused among his thoughts.
'It might even mean that Kim Dokja is a god, but the most incompetent one? Is that why he's not heard of at all in the shadow slave universe?'
Just then something hit him.
'Wait a second... he said he's from the time before... before the nightmare spell... That means he ascended to divinity in like, a hundred or so years? What if he's beyond even divine? Because if he tampered with real life itself, to bring me, that means... that means he's well beyond the seven gods, no?'
Caster was immensely shaken. His heartbeat rose to an insane level, well over 260 beats per minute.
What sort of being did he possibly just witness?
What sort of being did he bad mouth, let out his frustrations to?
What sort of being did he talk back to?
[The first fragment, 'The Fourth Wall' is scarcely activated.]
Due to perceiving Kim Dokja as a connection to his reality, the fourth wall was barely activated.
280 beats per minute.
300 beats per minute.
320 beats per minute.
Just then, Effie smacked his back, launching him straight out of his tent.
This finally caused him to snap back to reality, and he started to calm down.
[The first fragment, 'The Fourth Wall' is activated.]
"What's wrong with you?! Why aren't you listening to me?"
Caster's face was deathly pale.
"And why do you look like you're about to shit your pants right now?"
Caster didn't reply. Being calmed down by the fourth wall didn't change the fact that he was still shell shocked.
"Dude are you okay?"
No reply.
Effie walked upto him and picked him up in a princess carry and putting him down on his makeshift mattress.
Someone saw Caster being picked up like that.
After that she waited. Calmly standing over next to the entrance.
Caster's mind couldn't help but think about everything Dokja told him. The fact that the fourth wall's existence has caused fate itself to break was crazy enough. But what concerned him more was what he said afterwards.
'Fate itself will conspire against me... and apparently only I can attempt to resist it.'
His mind was thinking twenty different things at once, trying to deduce the meanings of his words better.
'Fate is restoring itself... does that mean any change I do will be reverted back to how it should be, eventually? If that's the case I should begin to make as many changes from the original... because the more fate splits apart, the longer it will take to restore perhaps?'
He shook it head.
'Not necessarily true either, I think. Who knows if I change things too much, fate will retaliate even more, like a rubber band that breaks after stretching it too much.'
And just like that, Caster spent the next fifteen minutes thinking and overthinking. Only after that did Caster truly calm down. He changed his posture.
Noticing the change, Effie finally spoke up again and asked him:
"What happened?"
The tone showed that she was genuinely concerned.
'Hmph, rare.'
"Ah... a weird dream I guess."
Effie let out a scoff.
"Don't dodge my question, brat."
"Tsk... I unlocked my aspect legacy, through a dream of sorts. And the dream... it wasn't exactly horrifying, just unsettling of sorts."
Effie would have been surprised, but she was too numb to Caster's surprises already. And, rare as it may, it's not like it's unheard off to get your aspect legacy as a dormant.
"So what did you get?"
"Nothing."
"Don't bullshit me, just show me what did you get."
"I'm telling you, nothing. I already had part of the aspect legacy with me from before, an ability of mine."
"That sucks."
Caster didn't know how to reply to that, so he just chuckled.
"Anyways, so are we going to hunt today or... a rest day for you oh-so-tragic dream you had."
"Give it a rest man, I'm tired as is... and yeah, let's take a break for today."
"Weakling."
"I'll pulverize your ass."
"Try me."
The two just stared at each other.
"Forget it, let's just hunt today. I don't have a lot of time left to act so leisurely."
"Why?"
"Reasons."
Caster got up and finally saw Effie eye to eye. He got tired of having to see up to look at her.
Afterwards, he walked past her and got out oh his hut. Effie followed behind.
"Let's hunt in the dark city starting now, we barely find any beasts now-a-days in the forest in the surrounding area."
Effie nodded, but Caster couldn't see that.
"Yeah, I mean, that's where I hunted too, the surrounidng forest is... hard to navigate with lots of food due to all the muddy places."
"We didn't have an option, we couldn't travel from the dark city to the settlements with all the food quickly enough."
"True..."
Effie caught up and soon started walking in front of Caster.
"Follow my lead, I know my way though the dark city."
"Yeah, thanks."
After a slight pause, Effie asked something:
"Why do you thank me so much? You don't need to say it this often."
Caster was quiet. He didn't really know how to answer that. But after a moment of self analysis he spoke up:
"I just don't want to be left with regrets."
"The hell's that supposed to mean?"
Caster spoke up with a mischivieous smirk, one that Effie couldn't see as she was facing away from him.
"Guess."
She turned around and looked at Caster.
"You're so frustrating."
Laughing in her face, Caster interjected:
"Not as much as you."
"Do you want to hunt alone?"
"...Just kidding... haha."
⸢The Fourth Wall says "Wuss."⸥
'Oh not you too!'
