Oliver looked at the giant claw that was heading his way. All he could do was look at it as it was going to rip his head off. He was too scared to move, just a total coward. Couldn't even block it cause one arm was ripped off while another one didn't work at all, just totally helpless. All he could do was imagine this moment in slow motion on how he got here. He was 19, didn't really do much but did have average grade. He was supposed to head home and took a bus, but it looked weird. It looked like a bus but not where he was from, maybe that was a warning sign and that all the seats were mysteriously full although nobody went out or in, so he had to stand. Also walking to his dorm, he saw nobody. All of these warnings and he still fell for it he really was a failure he closed his eyes ready to die.
Then the monster's body was sliced in half, and he felt some color come into his life. As the monster fell, he didn't feel paralyzed he felt like he could move so he fell down from the pain. He looked up and realized somebody was there with him. He got up to his knees slowly and saw something looking down it looked like a human but different. He had black cat ears, and his hair wasn't flowy or natural. Looked like a sketch or cartoon and the hair was completely red except for black lines that crossed across his hair through rows and collum. "You alright?" The thing was holding out a hand. Oliver grabbed his hand and got up. Maybe this wasn't the end, maybe he has been given a second chance.
