Chapter 2 - I'll Give You a Wife When You Travel Through Time

Roy was deeply shocked by the Elf Girl's peerless beauty, and he couldn't help but gape.

It turned out that the author called 'Otaku Perpetual Motion Machine' really didn't lie to him; a transmigration came with a wife, a golden-haired, pointed-eared Elf Girl, all perfectly matching his preferences.

The countryside couldn't compare to Orario, the center of the world.

Having lived in the countryside for over ten years, Roy had seen only a handful of Elves. Since coming to Orario, he had truly opened his eyes, with countless natural and unblemished beautiful girls. No wonder people sought encounters here.

Wait! This person looks familiar.

Liu Rion!

An Adventurer of the Astrea Familia, known as 'Gale', and a Level 4 Adventurer.

Roy's breathing became rapid, and the sudden change in his breathing rhythm startled the Elf Girl on the bed.

The Elf Girl suddenly opened her eyes; they were like sky-blue gems, revealing complex emotions: pain, sadness, anger…

Bang!

The Elf Girl grabbed a fruit knife nearby and sprang from the bed like a leopardess. The bed frame creaked, and Roy wore a look of utter despair. 'My brand new Simmons bed!' he thought.

One Level 4, one Level 1; there was no suspense. Roy couldn't even clearly see the other party's movements.

A golden phantom flashed before his eyes, and Roy's face froze. The sharp fruit knife was pressed against his throat, its silver blade emitting a cold gleam.

In a sense, he was 'wall-slammed'.

A drop of cold sweat trickled down Roy's forehead. His luck shouldn't be worse than the protagonist in that author's stories, who always risked his life.

Liu's eyes glinted fiercely, and her small face was filled with murderous intent. "Are you sent by the Rudra Familia to hunt me down?"

"I don't know any Rudra Familia."

Roy slowly raised his hands, gesturing to the other party, "You slept in my bed, and now you want to kill me? Is this how the Astrea Familia and Elves operate?"

"Is this your residence?"

Liu's gaze shifted to the large bed.

As an Elf with severe mysophobia, it was almost impossible for her to sleep in someone else's bed.

But this place was truly indescribable.

It was clean, tidy, and odorless. The sun-dried quilts were folded into neat blocks at the foot of the bed, emitting a faint, pleasant scent, even more comfortable than her own bed.

It was hard to imagine that a tent next to the street could be cleaner than an Elf's residence.

Although Roy called it a 'dog's nest,' it was small but complete, with a surprising interior, because like Liu, he had mysophobia.

"I'm sorry, I'll leave now."

Liu knew she had been reckless. She put down the fruit knife and, dragging her exhausted body, prepared to leave. The injuries left by that monster had not yet healed.

As she passed Roy, Roy called out to her, "Wait, just like that?"

"Do you want compensation?"

Liu stopped, a tragic smile on her face. "But now I have nothing left. My Familia, my friends, and justice have all abandoned me."

"I see, the Astrea Familia was wiped out," Roy deliberately murmured.

This must have happened in the past two days; he hadn't heard any news. After more than half a month in Orario, he had already figured out the timeline.

Ten years ago, the Zeus and Hera Familia failed in their conquest of the Black Dragon, and the two strongest Familias were annihilated!

Two years ago, the God of Darkness, Erebus, in order to motivate Orario, which had been in decline after the annihilation of the two strongest Familias, launched the Great Struggle, acting as a dark villain against the various Familias of Orario, honing a new generation of Adventurers to become a stepping stone for a new era!

Now the Astrea Familia is annihilated!

There are still five years until Bell comes to Orario!

The phrase "Astrea Familia annihilated" undoubtedly touched Liu's most sensitive nerve. If she hadn't just slept in his bed and felt some debt, she would have immediately cut off this person's head.

There was no trace of the clarity an Elf should possess in Liu's eyes; instead, there was a darkness bordering on madness.

Roy spread his hands innocently. It wasn't he who annihilated the Astrea Familia.

He had only been here for half a month…

However, according to the original timeline's development, Liu would then seek revenge by any means necessary, practically wiping out everyone involved in the incident.

And regardless of evidence, anyone rumored to be connected to the Darkness Familia would become a target for retaliation.

"Zagnate, that's the name of the monster that attacked you in the Underground City," Roy said softly.

Liu, who was about to leave, seemed rooted to the spot. Her small head stiffly turned back, her sharp eyes coldly staring at Roy, completely different from before.

The dense killing intent almost materialized, like a sharp knife held to Roy's neck.

Even if this Elf Girl rushed up and killed him the next moment, Roy wouldn't have any doubts, but he also had his own ideas. A Level 4 enforcer, if utilized properly, could help him grow quickly.

Roy calmly said, "I have absolutely no connection to the Darkness Familia. You can inquire about it, and you'll know. I just arrived in Orario half a month ago, and I make it my mission to help others. I am irreconcilable with evil!"

Liu's eyes showed distrust, and her small hand slowly moved to her sword hilt, her killing intent undisguised.

Roy coughed twice, it wasn't easy to fool her, his expression unchanged, "If you kill me, you'll never know the method to revive Ais Wallenstein and the others!"

Liu's pupils slightly contracted. "What are you saying?"

"It seems you're very interested in this topic. First, put down the knife." Roy silently changed his pants. In fact, he was already prepared to use the system to transfer to the instance world; how could he really risk his life!

Liu averted her gaze, shameless.

Roy said, "Let's make a deal. Three years from now, I'll tell you the information about the resurrection secret art. During this time, you'll help me kill some powerful monsters."

"Three years?"

Liu's eyes were cold and dark. She didn't have the patience to wait that long. "I can get the resurrection secret art now!"

The vast difference in strength between them made Liu feel that the other party had no right to negotiate with her.

Roy's attitude, which had been amiable just now, changed to a cold one. "If you think you can do it, then go ahead and try, but there's only one chance!"

Roy's confident demeanor made Liu feel a bit confused. Who exactly is the Level 4 between us?

Just a mere Level 1 Adventurer, where did his confidence come from?

The two sides were in a stalemate, engaging in a psychological battle.

"I do know the resurrection secret art, but with your and my current strength, it's impossible to obtain it. We would just die in vain!" Roy's tone softened.

In many instance worlds, those with resurrection secret arts were not something they could currently contend with.

Liu's small hand released the sword hilt, suppressing her eagerness to forcibly obtain the information through force. She also didn't believe that the legendary "resurrection secret art" would be so easy to acquire.
