Ethan didn't wait a heartbeat. His hands snaked around Lirael's slim waist and he pulled her down onto the bed, pinning her beneath his weight. His voice hot against her ear.
"Tonight, you're not escaping anywhere."
"K-Kya—! Sylvie is right there, just here… a-and I'm not even trying to run!" she whispered in panic, her voice trembling between embarrassment and anticipation. "What if she wakes up?"
Ethan chuckled darkly, pressing his lips near her neck. "Heh… then all that will happen is her big sister demonstrating things she'll need to learn in the future."
"You—! Shamele—"
He silenced her with a fierce kiss, clamping her mouth before she could protest further. His tongue invaded, swirling against hers with hunger, and his body pressed down, chest to chest, hips grinding until she felt the heat beneath the towel straining against her.
