For a moment the world narrowed down to nothing but their breath, heartbeat, and the storm that refused to be ignored any longer.
Aurelia finally nodded at him. "Yes you can." she whispered. "But you should know that I am still sore from last night's activities… so you will need to be gentle."
A faint, strained breath left him, almost like a broken laugh.
"With the way I am right now," he admitted, "I cannot promise that I will be. But I will try."
And then, as though even restraint had finally given up trying to hold him back, he kissed her again.
This time there was no pause, no hesitation, no space for argument. It was deeper, more consuming, as though the storm within him had finally found its direction and decided it would not be denied.
