Fallen Heaven: Rise of Faizi Tian

Episode 17 – Echoes of the Lost Night and the Crimson Mark**

The ground beneath Faizi Tian's feet still smoldered with demonic ashes as the sky above shifted into a twilight hue. Red clouds churned slowly, as if the heavens were reacting to the bloodshed below. The forest near the *Scarlet Demon Nest* had gone unnaturally silent — no beast dared to move. The balance of the region had tilted.

Faizi stood still, breathing slowly. Each breath carried the scent of flame and death. But his mind was not calm. The mysterious voice still echoed in his head:

> "He possesses the ancestral blood… The inheritor has awakened…"

Who was it? A survivor of the Fui Clan? Or something more ancient watching from the shadows?

He walked deeper into the heart of the nest, stepping over the remains of demons. His eyes, burning with ember glow, were locked ahead. The path twisted like a serpent, and the deeper he went, the thicker the fog became. The air buzzed unnaturally, and spiritual energy twisted chaotically, reacting to his bloodline.

Suddenly, his footsteps halted.

A massive stone gate stood before him — cracked, covered in strange demonic symbols. And in the center was a *crimson handprint*, ancient and dried, etched deep into the stone. It pulsed faintly.

Faizi's breath caught in his throat.

He knew that mark.

In his visions… during the bloodline awakening… he had seen this mark before. It was the very handprint left by his mother the night she died — when she tried to protect him from the invading demons.

His fists clenched.

A tide of emotions surged — pain, grief, fury — and in that moment, the bloodline flames around him flared out violently. The gate trembled, as if sensing his presence.

"I will find the truth," he muttered under his breath. "Even if I have to burn this world down."

As he touched the stone gate, the crimson mark flared. A burst of ancient energy pulled him inward — not physically, but into a memory realm.

Suddenly, he was standing in a ghostly projection of the past. The skies were dark, and the ground was filled with corpses. The old Fui Clan's stronghold burned. Screams echoed. He saw a young woman, holding a baby tightly — his mother. She was bleeding, running through collapsing buildings.

And then, from the shadows, emerged a towering demonic figure cloaked in black flames — with **horns of obsidian** and **eyes like pools of abyss**. The aura was overwhelming. Demonic Sovereign-level.

His mother turned and screamed something, but the memory faded before he could hear her words clearly. The vision shattered, and Faizi Tian gasped, falling to his knees.

His hands trembled.

"That was him… The demon who killed them."

For the first time, he had a glimpse of the true enemy.

The one behind the fall of the Fui Clan.

Rage and clarity surged together. His mission wasn't just revenge anymore. It was justice. He would rebuild the Fui honor, protect the weak, and destroy that demon — even if it took a lifetime.

Suddenly, a strange burning sensation crawled across his chest. He tore open his robe and saw it — the *Crimson Mark* from the stone gate had appeared on his skin, right above his heart. It glowed faintly, pulsing with ancient energy.

The flame within him responded. It wasn't just an ordinary mark — it was a **Blood Flame Seal**, an ancient key left by his ancestors to unlock deeper powers.

At that moment, a burst of wind surged from the north.

And from the fog stepped a cloaked figure — tall, shrouded in white, with silver tattoos running down his arms and a long blade on his back. His presence was calm yet terrifying.

"You carry the mark," the man said, his voice ancient yet youthful. "Then the heavens have truly chosen their next heir."

Faizi narrowed his eyes. "Who are you?"

The man didn't answer directly. He unsheathed his blade slightly, letting a thin sliver of silver light shine. "If you wish to unlock the truth of that demon… you must survive my trial. Come."

With no time to think, Faizi's flames surged as he launched himself forward.

Thus began a new battle — not just with blades and fire, but for knowledge, for legacy, and for the key to the past.
