"No… No way! How is that possible!?"
"That was Alan! 'The Drunken Swordsman' Alan, bounty 50 million Berries! He got taken down in the blink of an eye! This has to be a joke, right!?"
A pirate in the crowd, who had been enjoying the show, couldn't stop himself from shouting in disbelief as he watched Alan's unconscious form hit the stage. His cry acted as a catalyst, and the whispers of confusion throughout the venue erupted into a roar of panic.
The scene descended into chaos. It was terrifyingly clear to everyone that the staff of the auction house stood no chance against the lunatic on the stage. The auctioneer trembled, slowly backing away toward the wings. In a situation like this, his only hope was to find outside help. Under normal circumstances, no pirate or gangster would be foolish enough to cause trouble at an auction house under Joker protection. Because of that, the on-site security, the men Jerry had just flattened, represented the strongest combat force the auction house had on hand.
His eyes scanned the panicked crowd desperately. Then, he saw him. A wave of ecstatic relief washed over her. he had found his savior.
"Rear Admiral Sigmon!" he cried out, his voice sharp with desperation. "You're here! Oh, that's wonderful! Please, you must help us! Expel this madman, I beg you!" He bowed deeply in his direction, his loud plea drawing every eye in the room.
From his seat, a mountain of a man glared at him, his eyes filled with a deep, warning chill. "I was in a good mood today," Rear Admiral Sigmon growled, his voice a low rumble. "I had no intention of concerning myself with you pirate scum. But it seems you are determined to ruin my leisure time."
He was furious. He had numerous secret dealings with Doflamingo or better known in the underworld as Joker and had every intention of dealing with the troublemaker on stage, but the auctioneer's foolish outburst had just blown his cover. He had been debating whether to handle Jerry quietly after the fact or to make a grand entrance, and now he had made the decision for him.
"Wait, did she say Rear Admiral Sigmon? Why is he here?"
As Sigmon and dozens of men in his entourage stood up, revealing themselves to be Marines in plain clothes, the criminal element in the crowd knew the party was over. The pirates, gangsters, and underworld brokers began to sneak toward the exits, only to find their paths blocked. The scene exploded into full-blown pandemonium as Marines gave chase and the outlaws fled in every direction.
Amidst the chaos, Jerry quietly made a gesture behind his back. On stage, he had already whispered his identity and purpose to the two rescued mermaids. Now, seeing his signal, Dora and Kotatsu quickly scrambled to the right side of the stage, where they were already hiding in the shadows behind a large, draped table.
With the girls safe, Jerry turned his full attention to the man who was now striding toward the stage. Rear Admiral Sigmon was an impressive specimen, with a broad chest, tight abdominal muscles, and powerful arms covered in well-defined muscles that rippled under the lights. He wore a crisp white Marine cloak over a garish, bright yellow jumpsuit. But the most prominent feature was his head, which was perfectly, dazzlingly bald.
As he stepped into the main spotlight, the light reflected off his polished dome with a blinding intensity.
Jerry's eyes, which had seen more than their fair share of absurdity on the Grand Line, went wide. His jaw dropped, the crazed, perverted smile he'd been maintaining completely vanishing. He was so shocked he couldn't stop himself from blurting out the first thing that came to his mind.
"Caped Baldy?"
Rear Admiral Sigmon, who had been striking a heroic pose, ready to deliver a grand speech about justice, froze. The trigger word had been spoken. His face flushed a deep, furious red, and the air around him seemed to heat up. All thoughts of speeches and propriety vanished, replaced by pure, unadulterated rage.
"How DARE you call me BALD!" he roared, lunging forward like an enraged lion. "You're looking for DEATH!"
BOOM!
The floor beneath his feet shattered as he launched himself into the air, appearing before Jerry in an instant.
"Heavy Justice Hammer!"
With a furious cry, Sigmon swung his fist, as large as a cannonball, down toward Jerry's face. The attack was unbelievably fast, but Jerry's reaction was faster. Though he had no idea who this bizarre superhero look-alike was, he could feel the immense power and killing intent behind the blow. He instantly turned, scooped up the two mermaids who hadn't quite made it to cover, and dodged with a single, massive leap.
"Whoa, that was a close one!" he yelped.
CRASH!
Rear Admiral Sigmon's fist smashed into the spot where Jerry had been standing, punching a gaping hole clean through the stage. The surrounding floorboards splintered and cracked, radiating outward from the point of impact. From the hole, one could see the terrified faces of staff and other captive slaves looking up from the preparation area below.
Jerry landed lightly at the edge of the stage, setting the two girls down and ushering them toward safety. "Seriously, dude!" he shouted, patting his chest in an exaggerated display of fear. He seamlessly slipped back into his taunting persona. "You're bald, you're wearing a cape and a yellow jumpsuit, and you punch things! Are you trying to become this era's greatest shero or something?"
"AAAAAHHH! HE SAID IT AGAIN!" Sigmon's rage erupted like a volcano. Perhaps his baldness was tied to some deep, traumatic memory, because the taunt drove him completely over the edge.
"Six Powers: Shave!"
He vanished. Using the advanced Marine movement technique, Sigmon's speed increased exponentially, making him nothing more than a blur to the ordinary eye. He instantly crossed the distance and reappeared at Jerry's side, his fist cocked back for another devastating blow.
With the girls safely out of the way, Jerry no longer had any reason to hold back. He dodged sideways, using his left foot as a pivot and lashing out with a powerful roundhouse kick aimed directly at Sigmon 's head.
Sigmon, anticipating a counter, moved to block and grab Jerry's leg, but as the kick drew near, he felt the immense, unusual force behind it and knew he had misjudged. It was too late to change his tactics.
He had no choice but to cross his arms in front of his chest and activate his Iron Body technique. The moment Jerry's foot connected with his guard, an explosive shockwave erupted from the impact. Sigmon remained standing, but he was sent sliding backward over ten meters, his boots carving deep grooves into the stage floor. Though he appeared unharmed, his arms were trembling violently.
"Using Iron Body against me?" Jerry taunted, a sharp grin on his face. "You're only going to hurt yourself!"
Before Sigmon could recover his footing, Jerry pressed his advantage. He dashed forward, leaping high into the air, his body coiled like a spring. Closing the distance in an instant, he began his assault. His first kick slammed into Sigmon's crossed arms, the sheer force knocking them aside and leaving the Rear Admiral's chestwide open.
Like a raging storm, Jerry unleashed a flurry of kicks. Sigmon was driven back, unable to mount any defense as kick after kick slammed into his chest. He was a living punching bag, and Jerry's attacks followed him like a shadow. A grunt of pain escaped Sigmon's lips, followed by a spray of blood.
In the blink of an eye, Jerry had landed more than a dozen bone-jarring kicks. He gathered his strength one last time into his right foot and delivered a final, devastating blow squarely to Sigmon's face.
The Rear Admiral's body flew like a cannonball, smashing clean through the thick side wall of the auction hall. With a deafening roar, the wall crumbled, burying him under a mountain of brick and debris.
Jerry landed gracefully back on the stage. He calmly raised a hand and wiped the tip of his nose with his thumb. With a contemptuous glance toward the hole in the wall, he struck a pose, looking for all the world like a man who had never known defeat.
"Next time," he announced to the stunned and silent hall, "try not to bring an iron defense to a water fight."
