While Dorian was seated at the other side of the bed, Seraphina took the opposite side, her hands on her lap with her gaze fixed on the ground.
Her cheeks were still beet red, and her eyes widened in shock at what had happened.
How was he still awake?
She made sure to wait for a good while after he stopped moving before she walked in. So why did he wake up? It's not like he woke up during the previous ones she had done.
The fact he hadn't said a single word right after was killing her as well. Her heart might as well fall out of her chest from the intense tension eating her from the inside.
'Please just say something; I am dying here,' she whispered to herself, curious as to how he was going to react.
