Chapter 10 - Unedited

Moving In (2)

Jenny swirls her glass of orange juice, then slowly takes a sip, her eyes pinned on the door. Settling the glass on the table she kicked Liam's legs, "she should be here by now," She said.

Liam stole a quick glance at his wristwatch, "she should be here by now." He said. He doesn't have any explanation for Aurora's delay.

"Do you think she found out all this is fake and decided not to come?" Jenny asked. She was beginning to feel restless.

"Come on Jen, that is not possible." Liam smiled, raising Jenny's leg he placed it on his thighs and began to massage it slowly.

"If she doesn't come then all this would all be for waste." Jenny placed her fingers on her lips, biting down on it.

It wasn't like Aurora to ignore her. She has always had Aurora at her beak and call. No matter where she was or what she was doing, whenever Aurora heard that Jenny felt even a little discomfort, she'd rushed to her.

That was how much Aurora cared for Jenny.

"Thid won't be wasted. I promise you, she'd be here soon. Maybe she is working on your third book. The prelaunch date is getting closer and she hasn't submitted it for approval yet." Liam explained.

This seemed to calm Jenny. The thought that although Aurora isn't here, she is working for her was enough to soothe her.

"About what happened between you and her yesterday, don't scold her too much, maybe she is weared out." She removed her legs from Liam's thighs and adjusted so she is close to him.

She leaned in him, pressing her body into his chest. "Darling, you care too much about her." Liam said, one hand on her hair, smoothening it.

Jenny smirked, "I'll scold her just to put her back in line." Liam said and Jenny nodded. "I'll invite her to Stainless restaurant." Liam began, "we'll talk about it there." He reasoned it Wong be nice for them to speak about the event of yesterday in the hospital.

Jenny raised her head from his chest, "don't you dare take her there. You know that restaurant is for us alone." She wouldn't let Liam take her there.

Stainless Restaurant was a five star restaurant and only a certain class of people can afford to go there. To Jenny, Aurora do not worth going there with Liam.

"Don't worry, I'll take her elsewhere." He placed a kiss on jenny's lips, knowing how jealous she can be. "How about we speak in my car?"

"Perfect." She smiled in triumph. Before Liam left he took a few photos of Jenny lying in bed, pretending to be very ill and sent it to Aurora.

They were sure that Aurora would hurry to the hospital if she saw those pictures.

"Are you okay?" Slade asked. He noticed she tensed when she saw that message. Aurora nodded, trying to brush it off, "yeah, I'm okay." She said.

There was no way Liam and Jenny knew about this. What if they came for her?

She leaned on the headrest, closing her eyes.

Slade on the other hand thought about what she said. Nothing will change the fact that he hates the fact that his grandpa was trying to control his life. However, he knew the grandmaster was a man of his words.

He has sacrificed so much to get to this point, if he gives up now because of an apartment then all his effort will all be got waste.

"Do you want to stay in Wells Estate?" He asked Aurora.

Aurora had almost forgotten about this conversation, "huh?" She turned.

"I don't mind. But I'll support whatever decision you make."

"Then it's Wells Estate."

The car came to a stop in front of a big black gate. By the side of the gate was a tall sign post with the inscription, "Wells Estate."

After a few seconds, the gate slide open and Nicholas drove in.

"This wells estate?" Aurura asked eyes widened as the car pushed into the estate.

This was not just any estate. Wells Estate was a place only the wealthiest in the country can afford. She never expected that she would one day live here.

The car pulled up in front of a two storey building. There was a spring in front of it.

"We're here." Nicholas said and stepped out to open the door for them.

Aurora has to stop herself from gagging like a peasant. This place was beautiful.

Slade stepped towards her and entwined their hands, surprising her. She turned to look at him, "relax." His voice was low.

They walked past the stairs hand in hand, "you know I can walk myself." She said.

"Eyes ahead wifey." They stopped in front of the door which opened immediately. A man in his fifties stepped out, a line of gray hair on his head. He placed both hand together and bowed slightly.

Stepping out of the way, Slade and Aurora stepped in, "Welcome home mastwr slade." To aurora he said, "and madam." Raising his head he said, "I am Ethan Woods, you'd butler."

"There will be no need for you, I don't need a butler." Slade said not letting go of Aurora. "My wife and I will like to be alone." Slade said and without another word walked past with Aurora.

When they got to their room, he left her hand, "what was that for?" Aurora asked surprised.

"If you want this marriage to be fully secret, then believe me when I say, we need no spies from my grandpa.'

"He is a spy?'

"Yes." Slade said tugging on his tie. "I see." That moment, aurora's phone beeped.

She opened the message to see a picture of Jenny lying on the hospital bed. If Jenny is sending her this message if means she isn't the one who messaged her earlier.

Then who was the first message for?

She hissed out loud when she saw another message from Liam requesting they meet.

"What's wrong?" Slade asked.

"It's liam, he wants to meet." she inhaled sharply, "I really don't want to see him

." An idea suddenly popped into her head.

"I think I have an idea, but I'd need your help."
