About This novel, while drawing heavily from the anime's narrative, diverges significantly in its conclusion, particularly concerning the post-high school lives of its characters. Our protagonist, Hikigaya Hachiman, finds himself unable to choose between Yukino Yukinoshita and Yui Yuigahama, leading to him remaining single years after graduation. Unbeknownst to him, however, one persistent individual has not given up on him, even following him to the same university.
The story then shifts its focus to a sweet, everyday romantic comedy centering on Hachiman and the main heroine, Isshiki Iroha. Their tale unfolds from their university days and continues through their journey of building a family.
Just a friendly reminder: this novel is heavily centered on Hachiman x Iroha. It's also not very long, placing it in the medium-to-fast-paced category.
