"Oh my God"khole exclaimed "I can't go late on my first day" she said putting on her shoes she rushed downstairs "mooom" she called "yes honey" Jasmine replied "mom I think I'm going to be late on my first day she rushed to the dinner and took some food and stuffed her mouth she kissed her mom on her cheek and said "goodbye mom I will see you later on"she said heading to the door Jasmine called "aren't you going to eat" "no mom I will get some snacks on the way" "okay bye then"
She hurriedly left and thank God she saw a cab coming she didn't have to wait for her lift let alone book one she got into the cab"goodday please DIAMOND RUSH sir and please can you be quick I'm running late" she told the driver who replied "ok"
When they got there she came out and paid the driver and she turned and started walking into the place she was two minutes early she was not happy but at least it's not two minute late she went in and she greeted the receptionist and asked if Mr Xavier was in"Goodmorning" Clara replied"Goodmorning oh your here" she said "yes ermm is Mr Xavier in" "yes he is I will give you his schedule and tell you other things you need to know okay" "sure"khole said with a smile.clara went in a came back with a tablet it's the company's own actually this one was meant for khole it had all well most of the company details and most especially Mr xavier's schedules"here you go Clara said handing the tablet to her which she took I have uploaded his schedule on the tab you will be able to know when he will be out and in you will get the other details from Mr Xavier himself she said going back to her station "thank you" khole simply said and walked away.
When she reached Mr Xavier's office door she sighed and knocked on the door and a voice told her to come in which obeyed and went in "Good morning sir" she said bowing her head a little maybe as a sign of respect yeah which he respond with "yeah Good morning not quite on time tho" he said raising his head and brow when she entered he was doing some paperwork signing some documents some one was by his side to take the documents back to his dad.when he finish signing them he handed it to Trevor well Trevor is one of his dad assistant you can say he is his favorite actually he gave him the documents he took and left then he faced khole who has been standing and said "ok I assume Miss Clara must have given you the Schedule" he said "yes but she said you will tell me the rest sir" she said "okay I have a meeting by 10am I'm meeting with the owner of the documents I mean not my father but the man who sent it to my dad my dad was supposed to complete the deal but something came up so he told me to,so you're to be ready by then because you're also going with me to complete it I have instructed them to set a table in the other room your actually the first assistant I'm having so you will be there from time you might be moved here okay that's all actually"he concluded all she could say was "okay sir" it took that long for him to notice the dress she was wearing which was a floral print blouse with a black skirt he admired the dressing a little before he told her that she could go to her office when she got out she heaved a sigh walked a little before she saw a door by the left and saw that they've setup the table there well he said he instructed them they were fast she sat down and prayed before she start setting up her things on the desk.well I guess he needed her to be close by thats why her desk was there in the next room she finished arranging when she heard a knock on the door "come in" she said and it was Clara that popped "hey your office looks really nice" she said looking around "yeah thank you so…" "oh I almost forgot" she said "these documents came in for Mr Xavier well since you're his personal assistant it is right to pass it to you for it to be passed to him" "oh yeah I will do just so thank you" khole said "i think we will get on quite well"Clara said with a light chuckle "yes I also think so" khole replied "ok then I will leave you bye" "bye and thank you" "sure" Clara said and went out khole looked at the documents in her hand and went out she reached his office and knocked "who is that" "its me sir khole" "okay come in" he said and she went in "sir Miss Clara gave me these documents that I should give them to you it came in earlier" she said giving him the documents he took it from her and glance through it "i will go through it I guess it's the remaining part of the other ones I signed" he said with a sigh "thank you" she nod and was about to leave when he called back her attention "errm sorry " she turned and looked "sir" "how do you see your office is okay to your taste" he said with one brow raised curious to know her reply "yes sir it's really nice" "as my personal assistant you will be able to have some comfort as me there is a telephone there right? "yes sir " "ok I will be communicating with you on the telephone is that okay? "yes" "alright that will be all I will go through the documents" "okay sir" she said and left she went back to her office and sat down she carried her phone and called her best friend ayra "hello ayra" "hey sup baby girl" "fine how is your first day going dear" "not so good the boss is a bit arrogant,bossy,sassy just name it she finds fault in what I do ahgh well you I hope it's not this bad at your side? "oh sorry well my boss he isn't arrongant at all well I guess for the now but he has been talking to me politely and everyone around here seem to be okay with his aura he is nice don't worry you guess will get along from time okay" "yeah hope so okay I will talk to you later I have some works to compile okay bye love you" "bye yeah love you" she said and hang up the call.
