"Captain, are you tired? Do you want me to help you carry it?"
As soon as she joined Luffy, Nami "eagerly" followed behind him, offering to help him carry the treasure.
"Sure!"
Luffy smiled and gave the treasure to Nami. He was too lazy to carry it anyway.
Even if he gave it to Nami, she couldn't take it away now.
Out of the room, they came to the deck.
Nami's gaze swept around.
As far as she could see, she only saw Arlitta's pirate ship and the luxurious cruise ship next door.
She immediately asked Luffy curiously,
"Huh? Captain, where's our pirate ship?"
Luffy pointed in a direction.
"Over there!"
Nami looked in the direction Luffy pointed and was instantly dumbfounded.
If the luxurious cruise ship was a supercar, then Arlitta's ship was a motorcycle, and what Luffy called their pirate ship was… a bicycle wheel.
Nami looked incredulously at the pirate ship that could at most accommodate four people and was propelled by manual paddling, utterly stunned.
She looked at Luffy with an expression that said, "Are you kidding me?" But when she saw Luffy nod in confirmation, Nami despaired.
She had just been thinking that since Luffy was so powerful, he must have a lot of treasure.
Now it seemed she was too naive.
"Captain, our pirate crew isn't just the two of us, is it?"
Nami asked in a lifeless tone.
"There's one more person. I'll take you to meet her. It's a good chance to introduce you two."
As Luffy finished speaking, he flicked his right hand, extending it to grab onto the side of the cruise ship.
"Eh?!!!"
Nami was instantly scared silly by this sight, her eyes rolling back as she fell into a daze.
While she was still in a daze, she felt herself being embraced.
Then, her entire body flew out.
By the time she reacted, she was already on the deck of the cruise ship.
"You… you…"
Nami pointed at Luffy in horror, unable to utter a complete sentence for a long time.
"You must have heard of Devil Fruit, right? I am a Rubber Man who ate the rubber fruit."
Luffy explained.
To avoid unnecessary trouble, Luffy still temporarily claimed that he had eaten the rubber fruit.
Devil Fruit?
Nami was stunned.
Isn't that just a legend?
Could the legend be true?
At this moment, Uta finished eating and walked out of the cabin.
"Luffy, didn't you already deal with the pirates? Why did you take so long?"
Although Uta was in the cabin, under Luffy's guidance, she had long mastered Observation Haki.
So, she knew that Luffy had dealt with the pirates very early on.
As for what Luffy and Nami said while they were together, she couldn't hear it.
Luffy said,
"Uta, let me introduce you. This is Nami, the navigator I just found."
"Nami, this is Uta, the musician of our Pirate Crew."
Uta also reacted at this point, understanding why Luffy had delayed for so long.
She then took the initiative to greet Nami.
After the two girls briefly got acquainted, Luffy suddenly remembered something and interjected, asking Nami,
"Oh, by the way, isn't there a pirate hunter named Roronoa Zoro nearby?"
Upon hearing Zoro's name, Nami trembled, recalling the legends she had heard from other pirates.
Just thinking about it made her body tremble with fear.
Her expression was tense as she vividly described him to Luffy.
"Yes! He's the most famous pirate hunter in this sea area. All pirates shiver with fear when they hear his name."
"Legend says that no pirate who has fought him has ever escaped his grasp. He is a terrifying existence known as the 'Demon Beast'."
"If any Pirate Crew encounters him, they are certainly doomed."
At this point, Nami suddenly asked curiously,
"By the way, why are you asking about that pirate hunter?"
Luffy responded calmly,
"Oh! I want him to be our companion!"
"..."
The air instantly became incredibly quiet.
Nami felt as if she had been frozen in place once again.
A moment later,
Nami suddenly threw herself at Luffy's leg, her eyes filled with tears as she looked up at Luffy, crying out,
"Captain, I don't want to die yet, Captain!"
"If we go find that pirate hunter, we'll definitely be killed."
"I still have dreams I haven't fulfilled, and I don't want to die so soon!"
"Please find someone else to be your companion, Captain."
Luffy was helpless at this scene. Nami was indeed one of the timid trio.
Uta, however, spoke up for Luffy from the side.
"Nami, Luffy, he's very strong, you know!"
Uta's words calmed Nami somewhat. Thinking that Luffy alone had driven away the entire Arlitta Pirate Crew, he should not be weak.
But if facing a pirate hunter...
She was still a bit skeptical, after all, that was an existence known as the 'Demon Beast'!
"Get up, Nami! Since you are already my crew member, I will definitely not let anything happen to you."
Luffy looked down at the girl clinging to his leg and smiled slightly.
"Eh?"
Hearing Luffy's words, Nami was stunned.
She didn't know why, but she just felt that Luffy was very reliable.
It seemed that with his assurance, she would feel inexplicably at ease.
Nami wiped away her tears, let go of Luffy, and stood up again.
Luffy then continued to ask,
"Nami, do you know where that pirate hunter is now?"
"I don't know!"
Nami shook her head.
She wasn't lying to Luffy because she was afraid of looking for Zoro; she truly didn't know.
Luffy couldn't help but feel a little disappointed. In this vast ocean, without a map, where was he supposed to find him?
"I know!"
Just then, Luffy heard a voice suddenly come from a certain direction on the deck.
He looked in the direction of the voice and was startled.
He saw that Koby had been standing in his original spot the entire time since he had left.
And Koby at this moment was different from when he left.
His expression had clearly become much more resolute.
"Your name is Luffy, right? I am Koby."
"Thank you, Mr. Luffy."
"Your words made me understand what I want."
"I know where the pirate hunter is. I'll take you to him."
