Chapter 325 - Chapter 325: An Aircraft Carrier!

"Boss, my reward doesn't seem very useful."

After a long pause, Kaedehara Kazuha sighed.

If not the Spark Lens, then even a plane or missile would have been better.

At least those had real combat power.

"Look at it from another angle—since there are no airplanes here, you don't have to worry about crashing."

Han Feng replied with a completely serious expression.

Kazuha: (⊙_⊙)

That… actually makes sense.

But then again, with other rewards, he wouldn't have to worry about crashing either.

Even so, despite feeling a bit speechless, Kazuha didn't feel dissatisfied.

For him, being able to read Ultraman Tiga had already made the trip worthwhile.

Sometimes, a spirit or belief was more valuable than a tangible reward.

Beidou's Turn

"Looks like my little brother's luck wasn't great. Boss, what about mine?"

Beidou asked with a grin.

Han Feng glanced at the system panel.

The information refreshed.

[Customer Beidou has finished reading The Avengers]

[Reward obtained — Aircraft Carrier]

Aircraft Carrier:

A large surface combat vessel that uses carrier-based aircraft as its primary combat equipment and serves as a mobile base at sea.

Note:

This reward includes several fighter jets and a considerable quantity of weapons.

"This reward is actually quite good."

Han Feng nodded slightly.

Although an aircraft carrier was inferior to a space-capable carrier, that was only in relative terms.

Compared to the wooden ships of Teyvat, it was essentially a dimensional-level upgrade.

"Looks like the Crux Fleet is about to evolve from pirates into a navy."

A hint of amusement appeared in his eyes.

The Reward Appears

Buzz—

A brilliant beam of light descended, surrounding Beidou.

Moments later, the glow faded.

A card appeared in her hand.

On both sides of the card was an impressive image of a massive aircraft carrier.

"This… could it be the space carrier?"

Seeing the picture, Beidou's face lit up with excitement.

Ever since Han Feng had shown her the concept of a space carrier, she had been dreaming about it.

While reading the manga, her desire had only grown stronger.

Was her dream finally coming true?

"No. This is an aircraft carrier. It uses carrier-based aircraft as its main combat equipment and operates on the sea. A space carrier simply adds the ability to fly."

Han Feng explained briefly.

"I see."

Beidou immediately understood.

An aircraft carrier was a sea-based war machine, while a space carrier was a flying fortress.

Although this one lacked aerial flight, she didn't mind.

Her fleet operated primarily at sea anyway.

Having flight capability would be nice—but not necessary.

Combat Capability

"Boss, what kind of combat abilities does this aircraft carrier have?"

Beidou suddenly asked.

She remembered him saying it relied on carrier-based aircraft.

Did that mean— she was getting planes?

"It comes equipped with several fighter jets and a substantial arsenal of weapons."

Han Feng smiled.

"It's far beyond anything your wooden ships could match."

"That's fantastic!"

Beidou's eyes sparkled with excitement.

Fighter jets.

Weapons.

A floating base.

Her Crux Fleet could officially level up.

However, after the initial excitement, she realized a serious problem.

From what she had seen in the manga, both aircraft carriers and fighter jets had enormous numbers of buttons.

The controls were complicated.

Her crew had never received modern training.

They wouldn't know how to operate any of it.

That could be a major issue.

After thinking for a moment, she looked back at Han Feng.

"Boss, does this reward come with training skills? Otherwise, we won't be able to use the carrier."

"No. But isn't there a professional right next to you?"

Han Feng replied with a smile.

The Realization

"A professional?"

Beidou froze.

Then it clicked.

Of course.

Kazuha.

His reward was piloting skills.

Earlier, she had joked that it was useless—and now it suddenly became essential.

She stepped forward and clapped him on the shoulder.

"Little brother, want to try piloting an aircraft carrier?"

"B-But… I still need to go to Inazuma."

Kazuha looked conflicted.

He had already made his decision.

Changing plans now felt strange.

"That's not a problem. You can just sail the aircraft carrier to Inazuma. And if it's convenient, help train my crew along the way."

Beidou said cheerfully.

"That… actually makes sense."

Kazuha nodded.

He had originally planned to travel to Inazuma on Beidou's ship anyway.

Now it would simply be a much larger one.

Thinking about the massive vessel, a surge of excitement rose inside him.

Maybe it was the influence of the manga—or maybe the effect of his reward—but he suddenly felt an urge to pilot it.

However, when he remembered the "legendary" crash records of Daigo and Shinjoh,

his expression stiffened.

Even though he wouldn't be flying a fighter jet, there was no guarantee nothing would go wrong.

After a moment's thought, he decided to give Beidou a fair warning.

"Big Sister… aren't you afraid I might flip the aircraft carrier?"
