"Paimon, what is that thing?"
Seeing her partner on the verge of tears from joy, Lumine couldn't help asking.
"It's a game console!"
Paimon immediately perked up.
"There's tons of cool stuff to play! That one I just finished is called Super Mario!"
She began excitedly explaining all the mechanics.
Lumine finally understood—and was impressed.
"Oh, right! What reward did you get?"
Paimon noticed the skates in Lumine's hand and lit up.
"Wait, wait—isn't that Sakura's roller skates? That's your reward?!"
Like Lumine, Paimon also remembered how iconic those skates were in the manga.
She'd wanted to try them out herself!
"Mhm," Lumine nodded.
"Since I don't have a flying license, these'll be super useful."
"Then let's test them out! We can swing by Sara's place too."
Paimon's eyes sparkled—clearly still dreaming of that glowing golden fried rice.
Lumine smiled and nodded.
"Boss, we're heading out now!"
"We'll be back bright and early tomorrow for more manga!"
As they waved goodbye, Han Feng smiled and returned the gesture.
"Come again anytime!"
Watching them leave, Han Feng couldn't help chuckling.
The two of them—
One floating mascot with a camera,
One cute girl with skates…
They really did resemble Sakura and Kero-chan.
Especially now:
Lumine had the skates,
Paimon had the camera…
If only Amber passed her magic wand reward to Lumine,
that would truly complete the cosplay.
Leaving the alley, Lumine quickly changed into her roller skates.
Unlike most people, who'd fumble around trying to stay upright,
Lumine took to them like a fish to water.
She glided forward with perfect balance, almost effortlessly.
"How does it feel?"
Paimon zipped up beside her, full of curiosity.
"It's different… but way more fun than walking,"
Lumine admitted with a grin.
She didn't know how to put it into words,
but the feeling was exhilarating.
"This place is kinda cramped, though.
Let's try the main street!"
Lumine glanced around at the narrow alleyways, then called to Paimon.
Paimon nodded.
The two made their way along the streets, with Lumine skating ahead gracefully on her new roller shoes.
Maybe it was because it was already late afternoon, but the roads were quiet, and there weren't many people around.
Which made it the perfect time for Lumine to enjoy her new reward to the fullest.
The sensation of skating was completely different from flying—
And she loved it.
"Lumine, look! The wanted posters are gone!"
Paimon pointed excitedly to the bulletin boards along the street.
Earlier that day, after leaving the manga shop, they'd seen wanted posters with descriptions matching Lumine.
No name, but clearly referencing her blonde hair and traveler-like appearance.
It had been unsettling—even if vague.
But now, they were gone.
In their place were official notices from the Knights of Favonius announcing that the Stormterror crisis had been resolved.
"It must've been Barbara," Lumine guessed.
Barbara hadn't followed them to the manga shop earlier, instead returning straight to the Knights' headquarters.
Jean must've said something on their behalf, leading to the posters being taken down.
"Lesson learned. I'll definitely be more careful in the future.
No more wanted posters!"
—Another flag raised.
At the same time, passersby on the street began to notice Lumine skating by.
They paused in surprise at her strange, gliding movement.
"What's that under her feet? She's moving so fast!"
"Looks like… wheels?"
"Wheels? Did she attach a cart to her feet or something?!"
"I'm gonna try that when I get home!"
"Mondstadt's getting really weird lately…
Yesterday we saw someone flying on a stick,
Now someone's got wheels on their feet?!"
"They all seem to be coming from the same place.
Could there be some kind of strange shop over there?"
Lumine and Paimon exchanged amused glances.
Without responding, they turned and headed toward Good Hunter.
With her new wheels, Lumine moved at a remarkable speed.
In no time at all, they arrived at the restaurant.
Sara was inside, busy preparing something.
"Sara! Hello!" Lumine called.
"Oh, it's you two! Didn't expect you back so soon."
Sara looked up and smiled.
"Hehe, we couldn't wait to try the Golden Fried Rice, so we came straight here after finishing the manga!"
Paimon said, eyes shining with anticipation.
"Is it ready yet?!"
"You're a bit early. It's not ready yet,"
Sara replied, shrugging helplessly.
"Eh? Did something go wrong?"
Paimon blinked in confusion.
"It's like this…"
Sara explained:
The dishes featured in Cooking Master Boy were all heavily influenced by Liyue cuisine.
That included the Golden Fried Rice.
But Mondstadt's culinary style was different, and they didn't usually stock the same ingredients.
Even though Good Hunter had some supply channels, it would take time to gather what was needed.
"Best-case scenario, I'll be able to make it by tonight."
Sara sighed. "A good chef still needs the right ingredients, after all."
"So that's the issue…"
Lumine and Paimon both nodded in understanding.
"It just hit me—Han Feng sounds like a Liyue name, doesn't it?
Maybe the recipes in Cooking Master Boy were invented by him!"
Sara said suddenly, a gleam of admiration in her eyes.
After all, such vivid food descriptions couldn't have been made up—
They had to come from someone with real kitchen experience.
Especially since the cooking techniques were so detailed,
And now she even had one of those recipes in her head.
That made her even more certain:
Han Feng had to be a top-tier master chef.
"What?! Han Feng is a master chef too?"
Lumine was shocked.
Powerful, mysterious, handsome, and a gourmet?
Talk about being good at everything!
"Maybe it's time to go through with the plan to sell Lumine to Han Feng…"
Paimon thought to herself with gleeful malice.
It had started as a joke.
But now that she thought about it…
Solace Book House had amazing comics, cool rewards, fun game consoles…
And possibly even world-class cuisine?!
If Lumine moved in, wouldn't that mean Paimon could enjoy all that too?
Poor Lumine had no idea that her trusted partner
was seriously considering selling her off for manga, gadgets, and glowing fried rice.
If she ever found out, Paimon would definitely be on the menu as emergency rations.
