Meanwhile…
After accepting Acting Grand Master Jean's request, Lumine and Paimon set out for the Temple of the Four Winds.
There wasn't much time to rest.
After all, reading manga cost Mora—so if they didn't work hard, they'd soon run dry.
Luckily, with the Wind-Wind Fruit's power, Lumine quickly resolved the elemental disturbances inside the temple.
During the mission, Paimon gleefully recorded plenty of video footage.
Footage of Lumine battling Hilichurls and other monsters would be perfect for Traveler's Logbook – Volume 2.
After returning to the Knights of Favonius and submitting the report, Lumine was officially awarded the title of Honorary Knight.
She also received a hefty bonus—hundreds of thousands of Mora.
"With all this Mora, we're set for manga for the next few days!"
Lumine was practically glowing with joy as they exited the headquarters.
After experiencing firsthand how powerful the Wind-Wind Fruit was, she truly understood—
Reading manga here wasn't just fun, it was profitable.
The more she thought about it, the more eager she was to go back.
Paimon nodded in agreement.
After all, she was still fixated on the Gourmet Tablecloth that Boss Han had mentioned.
"By the way, Lumine... you didn't mention everything earlier, did you?"
Paimon asked, tilting her head.
"You mean when we saw the crystal… and the dragons? There was something else, right?"
"Yeah! That green guy! He was wearing the same green clothes as that passerby down there!"
Paimon pointed at someone standing in the square.
"...I think that is him,"
Lumine said, facepalming slightly.
Seriously, what were the odds?
"Eh? Really?"
Paimon's jaw dropped.
"Then let's go talk to him!"
Lumine nodded, and they walked down to the base of the Anemo Archon statue.
Sure enough, they saw that familiar green figure gently strumming a lyre.
As soft, pleasant music floated through the air, Venti began to sing:
"The tale I tell begins in ancient times,
when wind first danced through the skies..."
His performance was captivating, and both Lumine and Paimon were drawn in.
Like the rest of the crowd, they ended up tossing a few Mora into his tip basket.
"Oh, it's you two! The Honorary Knight and the hero of Mondstadt!"
Venti said with a wide grin.
He had recognized them instantly.
They had driven off Stormterror after all—how could he not know them?
"Hey, did you hear that? He called us heroes!"
Paimon was positively beaming.
"Hello, traveler from another land. I'm Venti, a humble bard... and, well—three-time champion of Mondstadt's 'Most Beloved Bard' contest,"
he added with a wink.
"Looking for me, are you?"
His gaze lingered on Lumine.
He had seen her strength firsthand.
Her mastery over wind was even more impressive than most Vision bearers.
"Oh, a bard? Then you'll be singing songs about me and Lumine, right?"
Paimon's mood skyrocketed.
But Lumine rolled her eyes before explaining the reason for their visit: the Tears of the Dragon.
After a long conversation, the two finally learned the truth about Stormterror—Dvalin.
He had been corrupted by Abyss Mages, leading to his rampage.
And just like in the original storyline, Lumine was once again persuaded (read: sweet-talked) into helping Venti steal the Holy Lyre of the Sky later that night.
Before they parted ways, Venti couldn't help but ask:
"Traveler, earlier… that giant azure dragon—how did you summon something so powerful?"
He was dying to know the answer.
Lumine smiled faintly.
"It was thanks to Boss Han's manga."
Lumine told Venti everything.
In the spirit of promoting Han Feng's business, she explained it all in great detail—
how amazing the manga was, and most importantly: that reading manga could earn you real-world rewards.
In Lumine's mind, if Venti—who was clearly well-connected and fond of stories—became interested, he might even compose a ballad about it.
That alone could spread word of the shop far and wide.
After all, she only paid 100,000 Mora for the Wind-Wind Fruit, which had already given her the power to create a hurricane-sized dragon.
Even though Han Feng considered it a fair trade, she couldn't help but feel a bit sheepish about it.
"So that's how it is!"
Venti's eyes sparkled with curiosity and amazement.
There was actually such a magical shop in Mondstadt?
As the Anemo Archon, he didn't always concern himself with mortal affairs, true.
But after a thousand years of existence, he dared say—no one knew Mondstadt better than him.
And yet...
This "Han Feng" person and this "read-manga-get-power" system?
He'd never heard of them.
"Could he be from another land...? 'Han Feng'... sounds Liyue-ish, but not quite.
Maybe he's... from beyond Teyvat?"
Venti rubbed his chin, visibly intrigued.
"Hehe! Let me tell you something even more amazing!"
Paimon suddenly chimed in, eyes full of longing.
"Boss mentioned a magical tool called the Gourmet Tablecloth. Whatever food you want, it'll appear right on the table! Isn't that awesome?"
She'd been craving that item ever since.
Maybe tomorrow she'd go ask when that manga would be available...
"Eh-heh?! A tablecloth that gives you any food you want?!"
Venti suddenly shot up, eyes glowing like a kid at a candy shop.
That kind of item was perfect for him!
If he had it, he'd never have to worry about food or drink again.
He could have the finest wines from Sumeru, Liyue, or Fontaine without stepping out of his room.
No more begging at Angel's Share!
The more he thought about it, the more he had to have it.
"Where's this manga shop? I want to go too!" Venti declared eagerly.
"You want to go?"
Lumine and Paimon exchanged a look and nodded.
"Sure, we'll take you!"
They had nothing else on their schedule anyway.
And maybe—just maybe—if Han Feng saw they were bringing in new customers, he'd let them read two manga in one day?
Who knew!
So, with that in mind, the three of them headed straight for the Solace Book House.
Meanwhile, at Solace Book House...
"Such a wonderful story!"
Barbara had just closed Digimon Adventure with a face full of wonder and lingering emotion.
As someone who spent most of her time inside the Church of Favonius, she rarely had the chance to read much.
But this manga's adventure and creativity had deeply captured her heart.
The unique world-building, fast-paced plot, and vivid illustrations had opened a whole new door for her.
Especially the ending, where the DigiDestined had to part with their Digimon companions...
It left her feeling bittersweet.
They had been through so much together, only to be separated...
Maybe forever.
"Good thing it's just the manga," Han Feng muttered with a chuckle.
"If you'd watched the anime version and seen that hat throw scene… You'd be crying buckets right now."
Just then—
Ding!
A system notification lit up in front of Han Feng's eyes.
He glanced over.
