Chapter 63 - Chapter 61 : The Beautiful Young Master in Trouble

Yuan Longxuan looked at Xiao Wu and pinched her soft, delicate bunny ears teasingly.

"Brother Yuan, you're so mean! Don't touch my ears!" Xiao Wu pouted but leaned closer, letting him touch them anyway.

Tang Chuan stood nearby, watching the scene unfold.

A wave of unease washed over him. Something about this girl...the way she moved, the way she looked...reminded him too much of his own Xiao Wu.

It was uncanny. But he quickly pushed that thought aside.

He had other matters to attend to. He needed to check the part-time student dormitory and see if his Xiao Wu had arrived.

She should have gotten there not long after he did.

A glimmer of hope remained in his heart, but if Xiao Wu was truly not there, Tang Chuan swore he would deal with the person in front of him.

No one could harm Xiao Wu without facing consequences. She was innocent and kind, and only he....the pure-hearted God King Tang....could protect her.

Despite having lost the powers of the Sea God and Asura God, Tang Chuan's intelligence and wisdom still shone brightly. He had a plan.

With his knowledge of pharmacology and strategy, he could handle even dangerous enemies like Dugu Bo. In this life,

Tang Chuan's mind remained sharp, capable of handling situations where sheer strength alone would fail.

Meanwhile, back at the dormitories of Notting Academy, Yuan Longxuan and Xiao Wu observed the scene of a young girl being chased by a group of unruly aristocratic students.

"Oh my! Isn't that the 'Beautiful Young Master' who sells milk tea on the street?" one of the girls jeered, smirking at Yuan Longxuan.

"How about you work for me as my pet? I'll pay ten gold soul coins a month. Hahaha!"

The little girl in front of them, though calm on the surface, was secretly panicking.

The aristocratic students pressed closer, their expressions filled with arrogance and entitlement.

Yuan Longxuan calmly assessed the situation. He recognized immediately that the girl was in danger. Behind her, a martial spirit began to form....a black-and-white peacock.

In an instant, his own martial spirit activated, and using its inherent advantages, he effortlessly evaded the encircling students. Their weapons...kitchen knives, wooden sticks, and spatulas—meant nothing against his martial soul.

Xiao Wu, sensing something, tugged on Yuan Longxuan's sleeve. "Brother Yuan, look at her…" she whispered, pointing at the little girl.

Yuan Longxuan nodded. He understood. Xiao Wu would comfort the girl while he dealt with the attackers.

She had a natural warmth that reassured others, and this girl clearly needed that comfort.

The girl hesitated at first, unsure if she could trust them.

But seeing Xiao Wu's kind and confident expression, she ran toward her.

The group of aristocratic students pressed on, oblivious to the danger they were in and still full of haughty confidence.

"Brother, there's someone coming!" one of the students shouted.

"I don't care! My father is the Lord of Notting City! If anything happens, he'll take responsibility!" another bragged.

"Listen, we'll help you kidnap her tonight!" one of them added with a wicked laugh.

Yuan Longxuan sighed. Six years old and already speaking so recklessly.

Were children in Douluo Continent always this precocious? He had to act fast.

Hiding behind Xiao Wu, Yuan Longxuan held her hand firmly, making sure the girl felt safe. Xiao Wu gently patted the girl's head, offering comfort and encouragement.

Then Yuan Longxuan unleashed a small display of his power.

A booming sound resonated through the air, striking the arrogant students directly.

One by one, their heads spun, and they collapsed to the ground, fainting instantly.

The little girl trembled, her body still shaking from fear, but relief quickly replaced panic as she realized the attackers were no longer a threat.

"Little sister, it's safe now. Those bad guys have been handled by Brother Yuan," Xiao Wu said softly.

The warmth in Xiao Wu's voice seemed to reach the girl's heart. Slowly, she opened her black-and-white eyes fully and looked around. Seeing Yuan Longxuan and Xiao Wu before her, she let out a small sigh of relief.

"Thank you, sister!" the girl said, bowing politely to Xiao Wu.

"And thank you, brother!" she added to Yuan Longxuan, bowing again.

Yuan Longxuan smiled gently at the girl. Despite the hardships he had faced in life, moments like these reminded him why he needed to protect the innocent.

This girl, much like Xiao Wu, deserved to grow up safe and happy.

He glanced at Xiao Wu.

Her eyes were filled with compassion, and she seemed to radiate a special energy that made everyone around her feel calm and reassured.

Yuan Longxuan felt a rare warmth in his chest. He didn't often allow himself to feel such emotions, but seeing Xiao Wu and the girl together stirred something he had long ignored.

Meanwhile, Tang Chuan, still observing from a distance, continued to compare the girl and Xiao Wu.

The resemblance was striking, yet the differences were clear.

It reminded him of stories he had heard about Wang Dong'er and Wang Qiu'er....two people who looked similar but were fundamentally different.

Yuan Longxuan took a step back and looked at the fainted students.

Their arrogance and bullying had been punished swiftly, and no one else dared approach.

He had no desire to humiliate them further. It was enough that the little girl was safe.

Turning his attention back to the girl, he smiled gently.

"You don't need to be afraid anymore. They won't bother you again."
