Chapter 13 - Chapter 13 : Joining Yuexuan by Mistake ( Re write)

The chilling intensity of the music made every student freeze.

Those who had come to mock Yuan Longxuan were now trembling, afraid to move.

For Yuan Longxuan, however, this was just a natural outflow of his own energy....after all, he wielded sword techniques fused with supreme-level sword intent, so a bit of dangerous aura was normal.

Just as he reached the crescendo of the piece, the door opened.

A graceful figure stepped in...it was Tang Yuehua, the head of the academy and founder of Yuexuan.

The powerful resonance of the guqin reached her immediately.

Tang Yuehua's eyes locked on Yuan Longxuan as she felt the intensity in the air.

He was fully immersed in his music, and she could see it reflected in every precise movement of his hands.

Though he wasn't particularly fond of guqin music in the past, now he discovered a unique charm in the sound.

Slowly, the surrounding students began to feel the music's essence. Their initial fear gave way to appreciation. The piece transported them into a battlefield in the darkness, where the only sounds were the clash of swords and the cries of warriors.

Tang Yuehua, who had been trained in music, art, and strategy since childhood, immediately recognized the extraordinary quality of the piece. She stepped confidently into the classroom, moving to a central position to listen more closely.

The performance of Ambush from Ten Sides lasted about five minutes. When it ended, the students were still reeling, as if they had experienced the battlefield themselves. Then, applause came from the front of the room.

Yuan Longxuan turned to see Tang Yuehua, dressed in a flowing silver gown that reached the floor. Her light blue hair was tied elegantly behind her head, and her gray eyes carried a gentle warmth. Her delicate features exuded a charm that inspired admiration.

"Your piece was extraordinary," Tang Yuehua said. "Your skill on the guqin has left me truly impressed."

Yuan Longxuan recognized that Tang Yuehua had realized he wasn't a regular student. Even nobles who wanted to enroll disciples at Yuexuan needed her approval. This young man had clearly arrived through unconventional means.

"Nice to meet you, Sister Yuehua," Yuan Longxuan said calmly. "I apologize for arriving uninvited."

Her calling him "sir" confirmed that she had indeed guessed he had not come through normal channels. But Yuan Longxuan didn't care—he was here now. Observing a class quietly didn't cause any trouble, so why worry?

Tang Yuehua smiled slightly. "Since you're here, it's a welcome presence. Your skills will also make my job easier."

Yuan Longxuan tilted his head in curiosity. "Easier? How so?"

"Xiao Zhang, move Yuan Longxuan's guqin to the front. Today, he will help teach your guqin skills."

The students gasped. Yuan Longxuan, normally uninterested in studying or teaching, suddenly found himself in a teacher's role. Typically, he would nap through such classes, but now dozens of eyes were watching him.

"Alright, that concludes our morning guqin lesson," Tang Yuehua announced after the class.

"This afternoon, Teacher Li will lead the calligraphy and painting practice. Prepare accordingly."

Yuan Longxuan yawned deeply. Normally, he never felt sleepy, but after even one session, he was exhausted.

His talents, enhanced by the system's top-level guqin skills, made the class feel boring rather than difficult. Without such enhancements, he might not have slept at all.

"Yuan Longxuan, come with me," Tang Yuehua said, rising gracefully. "I'll take you to complete the Yuexuan appointment procedure."

Yuan Longxuan followed her, curiosity piqued. Appointment? What kind of appointment was this?

Three minutes later, they entered a tastefully decorated office. Tang Yuehua pulled out a document from a cabinet.

"An appointment form?" Yuan Longxuan asked, confused. "Are you saying I'm… joining Yuexuan as a teacher?"

"Yes," Tang Yuehua replied simply. "You're here to be a teacher at Yuexuan."

Yuan Longxuan was momentarily speechless.

Not a student, not here to cause trouble, yet officially joining as staff?

He had only come to observe and maybe enjoy the music, but now he was part of the academy.

"Well… I guess that works," he said with a faint smile. Even if unexpected, it didn't bother him.

Tang Yuehua handed him the form. "Please fill this out. Welcome to Yuexuan, Yuan Longxuan."

For the first time, Yuan Longxuan felt a sense of responsibility.

Perhaps being a teacher wasn't so bad, especially with someone like Tang Yuehua by his side.

He could handle a few lessons, share his skills, and who knew....maybe even make some unexpected friends along the way.

And so, Yuan Longxuan officially became part of Yuexuan, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his life....one full of music, mastery, and unexpected opportunities.

So, that means Yuexuan has four teachers now, including us?" Yuan Longxuan asked, a hint of surprise in his voice.

Tang Yuehua nodded in agreement. "Yes. Since the number of students here isn't very large, I, as the founder, mainly focus on nurturing their temperament, etiquette, and guqin skills. The other subjects like calligraphy, painting, and chess are handled by two other teachers."

Yuan Longxuan understood. After all, she was only a level-nine soul master; her energy and focus were naturally limited.

"So, what about me? Am I like a little assistant to Sister Yuehua?" he asked casually.

Tang Yuehua's lips curved into a small smile at his words. "You could say that. Having you around will make things easier for me too."

She stretched in the warm sunlight, her delicate features relaxed and peaceful.

Yuan Longxuan watched her for a moment, noticing how graceful she was even in such a simple gesture.

"By the way, I still don't know your level or your soul weapon. Can you tell me, Sister Yuehua?"

Yuan Longxuan's repeated use of "Sister" made her heart flutter subtly.

Who could resist a handsome, confident young man calling them "Sister"? Tang Yuehua, only in her early twenties, had yet to experience much romantic affection, so the little sweetness in his words excited her.

"I'm seventeen," Yuan Longxuan said casually. "My soul weapon is a sword, and my soul power is decent enough."

Although his answer was vague, he hadn't lied. With his current strength, he could easily dominate the entire continent if needed.

"You're only seventeen?" Tang Yuehua exclaimed in surprise. To her eyes, he appeared to be about twenty.

"Yes, I'll turn eighteen in six months," Yuan Longxuan replied with a faint shrug. His immense soul power made him seem older than his actual age.
