In a modest home nestled in a quiet human village, a 5 year old boy named Thorfinn lay tucked in bed, his wide eyes glowing with curiosity as his mother told him bedtime stories of ancient human heroes who had fought in wars thousands of years ago.
Suddenly, Thorfinn sat up and asked, "Mom… when and where did the vampires come from? And why did they treat us like slaves?"
His mother paused for a moment, her expression softening. "No one knows exactly when vampires started appearing in this world," she said gently. "It was as if they were always here—living in the shadows among us, hiding, surviving… waiting for the right time to grow in number. Many many years ago, the world discovered the existence of mysterious creatures that lived in the dark, could live up to 1000 years, creatures who didn't eat food but survived on blood."
But to everyone's surprise, the humans did not hate them. In fact, they welcomed them. "We saw no difference," she said. "Most Humans eat meat. Vampires drink blood. That was all." Vampires didn't look very different from humans either just slightly paler, with sharper eyes and a colder presence.
Thorfinn frowned. "So… how did things go wrong?" His mother looked at the ceiling, her voice turning somber. "It all changed when, one day, a vampire tasted human blood—and found it… delightful." Word spread quickly. More vampires began to crave it. "Soon, they started hunting us. Killing humans and drinking our blood." Humans, feeling betrayed, did not back down. They fought back, and so began the first great war World War I.
Having lived alongside vampires for centuries, humans knew their weaknesses. They forged plans, developed weapons, and fought fiercely. "In the daytime, humans dominated the battlefield. At night, the vampires ruled," she explained.
But then, the human leaders of the world united. They joined hands to drive the vampires to extinction. For a while, it seemed they would succeed. Until he came.
"The King of the Vampires—the Demon, the First Vampire—appeared, alongside his seven commanders."
They fell upon the humans like a storm.
These vampires were unlike the rest they were immune to sunlight and many times stronger. Each commander alone was said to be more powerful than a thousand vampires. "It was a nightmare," she said quietly. "Hope faded. Cities fell. Humans began to accept defeat." Thorfinn's voice trembled. "Mom… where is the vampire king now? And his commanders?"
She smiled sadly. "Nobody knows. After the war ended, they vanished. But before they left, they warned the world: 'If the humans ever dare to rise against us again… we will return. "That's why, even today, no one dares to defy the bloodthirsty vampires."

Vampires freed the humans from their chains. No more hunting, no more slaughter just an agreement: regular blood donations, paid for with gold and respect.
Present Day
A large military camp stood hidden deep within a jungle. Inside a steel-lined command tent, Thorfinn—now a hardened adult—sat at his desk. The walls around him were covered with war maps, blood-stained reports, and surveillance images of vampire cities. A human soldier entered the tent, saluting sharply.
"Report," Thorfinn said coldly.
"Sir Commander," the soldier began, "we've destroyed all known vampire cities in this region—seven cities eliminated. And globally, other human forces have wiped out over two hundred more. Only two vampire cities remain. But according to our intel, they'll fall soon as well."
Thorfinn leaned forward. "What about the hidden city the one ruled by the Five Immortal Kings?"
The soldier hesitated. "We're doing our best, sir. We've captured and tortured dozens of vampires, but… it seems most of them genuinely know nothing. That city is a myth even among their kind."
Thorfinn scowled, frustration tightening in his jaw. "Then capture more. Bring me every last one."
The soldier saluted and exited the tent.
Left alone, Thorfinn stared at the maps. His voice dropped to a whisper. "I promised you… I would make them pay. No king, no commander—no vampire—can stop me."
Scene shift:
Back in the vampire city now reduced to ash and ruin, Drake Diabolos was still kneeling beside his mother's lifeless body. His trembling hand clutched hers as tears streamed silently down his cheeks. His mind was filled with memoriesof laughter, family dinners, walks through the garden with his sisters… moments now lost forever.
Despair consumed him. And yet, deep within that pain… something else was beginning to stir.
An hour later...
Drake finally stood up, his legs trembling beneath him. It was nearing 12 PM—the sun was high in the sky, its rays piercing through the dust-choked air. He pulled a dark, enchanted cloak from a hidden compartment in the ruins—one designed to protect vampires from the sun. It covered his entire body, including a hood that shielded his pale face in shadow.
With heavy steps, he made his way into what used to be the castle's backyard. The garden—once vibrant and lush with crimson roses and moonflowers—was now a graveyard of ash and debris. The scent of burnt blood lingered in the air. Drake grabbed a rusted shovel lying among the rubble and began to dig. One grave… then another… and another.
His arms ached. His clothes clung to him, soaked in sweat and blood. But he didn't stop—not for water, not for rest.
Five hours passed.
By the time the sun began to set, he had dug and filled seven graves. One for his mother. One for each of his sisters. One for his uncle, his aunt, his cousin… everyone he had once loved. The sky burned orange above him, casting long shadows across the freshly dug earth. Drake stood in silence, staring at the row of graves. Then, slowly, his fists clenched. His eyes—bloodshot and full of fury—glared toward the heavens.
"I swear," he growled, voice shaking with rage, "I will erase every last one of them. Every single human will pay." He looked at his mother's grave, then back to the blood-red sky.
"We gave them mercy. Freedom. Equality. And what did they do? Those ungrateful creatures stabbed us in the back. No more."
Drake raised his arms and shouted:
"Only one race will survive on this planet—and I will make sure it is us—the vampires!"
The sky seemed to darken at his words.
