That night, after returning home, Kin Ouren drank heavily.
Glass after glass of alcohol numbed his tongue but sharpened his memories.
And then —
everything from his past life came rushing back.
In his drunken state, Kin grabbed his phone and called Shen Seizan.
His voice cracked, desperate and raw.
> "Do whatever it takes, Shen. I don't care how—
Just find my Banja. Bring him to me."
Shen was startled.
> "What happened to you all of a sudden?
You went to the psychiatrist today, didn't you?"
Kin replied, almost breathless,
> "Yes… I went.
And now I remember everything.
Everything, Shen. My past life… my Banja.
You have to find him. Please."
Then, with urgency in his voice, Kin added,
> "Also… find out where Zemura Village is.
Whether it still exists or not — I need to know."
Shen paused on the other end, shaken but trying to stay calm.
> "Alright… give me a little time. I'll find out and let you know.
But please, Kin, don't drink anymore tonight.
Take your medicine and get some sleep, okay?"
Hearing Shen's steady voice gave Kin the little comfort he needed.
He quietly obeyed, swallowed his medicine, and lay down to sleep.
The room fell silent.

🕒 Exactly at 3:33 AM...
Half-asleep, Kin's ears twitched.
A soft, whispering voice — in a woman's tone — slipped into his dreams.
> "Sumara…
Sumara…
Sumara…"
The name echoed in the dark like a forgotten lullaby.
Kin's eyes flew open.
He gasped for air and sat up on the bed, heart racing, drenched in cold sweat.
