Frank grunted in response, a sound that could mean anything from "shut up" to "you're right." Daisy just laughed, a genuine, joyful sound that echoed through the room. It was a hilarious contrast between her tech-nerd persona and his grim, no-nonsense soldier vibe.
Daisy then looked at the Pulse Bracer, the small, metal disc that was now a part of her. She put it on her wrist, and felt a quiet hum, a silent promise of control. "So... what now? Do we go and fight bad guys? Do we go and save the world? Do we get a team name? I was thinking 'The Artifacts.' It's a bit on the nose, but it works."
Adam just laughed, a genuine laugh. "Slow down, speed racer. We'll get to the team name. For now, we have a new mission. A new artifact to find. The System, a silent presence in Adam's mind, chimed again.

Adam smiled, a wry grin that was becoming more and more common. "Okay, team. Our next mission is a little more... proactive. We're going on a raid, a heist, a mission to find a new artifact. And we're going to a place that's a lot less pleasant than this place. We're going to Hydra."
Daisy, her face full of grim determination, looked at Adam. "Hydra? The guys who are basically a cartoon villain organization with a lot of resources?"
Adam laughed, a genuine laugh. "Exactly, Daisy. The guys who are basically a cartoon villain organization with a lot of resources. And we're going to crash their party. Get ready, team. The fun's just getting started."
