The karaoke lounge on the academy grounds was once again alive with noise and music. The glowing lights from the small stage reflected off the low tables and booths, casting the whole place in a lively atmosphere that was different from the normal seriousness of classrooms and training fields. For Arios, Lucy, and Liza, it was starting to feel like one of their routine escapes from the constant storm of rumors and tense situations surrounding Amelia.
Liza walked in first, pulling Arios by the wrist like she always did when she decided what they were going to do for the evening. Lucy followed just behind, carrying a tray of drinks she had grabbed at the counter. Arios sighed but didn't fight against Liza's pulling; resisting her only made her hold tighter.
"Come on, Arios," Liza said, looking over her shoulder with a grin. "You didn't even sing last time. Today you don't get to sit quietly."
