Chapter 6 - CH6

Damian stood at the heart of his sprawling Library, the hum of ambient mana swelling around him, feeding the vast repository of knowledge he'd created. His mana pool, now immense beyond measure, rippled through his veins like liquid fire. With the Archive magic and the Library's data streams intertwining, he prepared to create a new magic, one capable of bending dimension and time, crossing the boundaries.

Drawing on inspirations from the undetectable extension charm, time turners, apparition, and portkeys, Damian began weaving the complex lattice of spells. But beyond mechanics, he fused it with intent and his deep connection to the Akashic Records, an infinite archive binding all souls, times, and worlds.

He chanted softly, running arcane runes from ancient Norse symbols to hieroglyphs and fairy-tail magic scripts. His hands wove intricate patterns, and his mind reached outward, pulling on threads of existence.

The magic resisted, flickering wildly. Mana surged and collapsed, threatening to overwhelm him.

"Focus your will," he murmured, steadying his breath. "Align intent with the flow of magic."

After hours of strain, magic circle shimmered into existence as he spoke the words;

"/UT TE MINISTRUM MANA, LIBRARIUM AETERNAE SCIENTIAE, COMMENDO TE APERIRE RUPTURAM VISIONIS TUAE, TUA VOTA/"

("/I commend you, O minister of the divine, librarian of eternal knowledge, to open the rupture of your vision, your wishes/")

a shimmering portal flickered to life before him. Without hesitation, Damian stepped through.

The portal shimmered closed behind Damian as he stepped into a world thick with tension and latent magic. Crumbling buildings and the distant growls of monsters set the backdrop. He found Lee Sunghoon training alone, his movements sharp but eyes wary.

Damian cleared his throat.

Lee snapped his head toward him, fists clenched, ready to fight.

"You're not from here," Lee said cautiously. "Who are you? What do you want?"

Damian raised his hands in a calming gesture. "My name is Damian, a simple, your avarage librarian. I meant no harm. I'm... a collector of arcane knowledge. I've come to offer you a chance,a membership in my Library."

Lee's eyes narrowed "A library? What kind of trap is this?"

"No trap," Damian said evenly. "Think of it as a connection. A way to access knowledge from countless worlds. I can give you power, insight, connect you to the Akasha system, make you remember your past life, make you an awakened. But I don't expect blind trust."

Lee folded his arms. "Why me? Why now?"

"You have potential," Damian said. "More than you know. Your past life was legendary and I want you for your passion for knowledge, your drive for research, your drive to heal your mother even if it means you have to work on dangerous jobs and leaving your dream of being a musician aside. Your awakening has been delayed by... circumstances. But with my help, you can reach it sooner."

Lee's jaw tightened. "Sounds like you want to use me." While being slightly affected by the mention of his mother and his broken dreams.

"Maybe," Damian admitted. "But it's mutual. I need someone grounded in this world to strengthen my link to its Akashic Records and you need knowledge and power to survive what's coming."

Lee's gaze flickered, uncertainty mixing with resolve. "If I say yes, what then?"

Damian produced a faintly glowing sigil, hovering in midair. "This is the 'Member of the Eternal Library' skill, I made from accessing the akashic system to collect the data of skills and their creation, did you know that skills are mostly spells made automatic to use and making them no need to know the knowledge of theory ? quite the fascinating things. It will connect you directly to my archive. You'll learn faster, fight smarter."

Lee hesitated, then extended a hand saying nothing, accepting his current normality and wanting to be more, achieve more.

Days passed. Damian watched as Lee awaken as a awakened and regaiened his past life memories as a great mage, trained harder, his unique use of magic changing his life as he signed a contract with the same company from the manhwa then healing his mana posioned mother. The world was harsh, the magic was different but the Library's knowledge washelping him mix his past life magic, akashic system's useage of skills and the wizarding world magic.

One night, by a flickering campfire, after hunting monsters, Lee looked at Damian. "You're not the kind of person I thought you were."

Damian smiled faintly. "Neither are you."

"Why do you care about this Library anyway?"

"Because knowledge is power," Damian replied. "And power should be shared, not hoarded."

Lee laughed dryly as he looked at his new friend.

A connection was born that day, a friendship had blossemed. And the library had finally got its member.
