Two towering silhouettes suddenly stepped over the high treetops, their massive forms emerging before Luffy and the others, framed by the dense foliage.
Clang!!!
A mountain-sized sword slammed violently against a mountain-sized battle axe.
"Ahahahaha!!!"
"Dorry! You're already missing home, aren't you?"
The giant Red Ogre, Brogy, pressed down hard with his axe while teasing his longtime friend and rival.
"Yahaha!!!"
The Blue Ogre, Dorry, blocked the massive axe with one hand and slammed his huge shield into Brogy's midsection with the other.
In an instant, Brogy's enormous body was pushed back as if struck by a force far greater than his weight. His hands, still gripping the axe, lifted high from inertia, and he stumbled backward several steps.
Brogy planted his massive feet into the ground, increasing friction to stabilize himself.
The force of his stomp crushed the earth, leaving deep pits. A small dinosaur unlucky enough to be in the way was flattened into a pulp.
Focused entirely on Dorry, Brogy seemed unaware of the incident and quickly readjusted, lifting his battle axe once more.
Dorry grinned, revealing enormous yellow teeth several meters long, mischievously responding to Brogy's teasing:
"Home? I do miss it very much!
That's why I need to defeat you quickly and return to Elbaph sooner, Brogy!!!"
Boom!!!
Taking advantage of Dorry's words, Brogy leapt high into the air like a moving mountain, casting a massive shadow over the forest below.
Dorry, who had fought Brogy for a hundred years, immediately recognized his intent and raised his giant round shield at a forty-five-degree angle.
Crash!!!
The two colossal weapons collided again.
The titanic force generated by the giants' immense strength sent a gale across Little Garden, toppling countless towering trees around them.
…
"Wow~"
The battle between the two giants was a stunning spectacle, a perfect feast for the eyes.
The Starry Sky crew, still just entering the island, and the distressed Princess Vivi watched like art critics, discussing the fight in awe.
Usopp, yearning to be a brave warrior, pulled off his goggles and stared intently, memorizing every moment:
"This… this is the legendary giant race!? Their fight is incredible!"
"The Grand Line is really full of monsters!"
"Yeah! Yeah!"
Koby nodded enthusiastically, his eyes glistening as if overwhelmed by the wonders of the Grand Line.
Zoro, arms crossed, his sturdy chest exposed beneath a loose robe, observed the ongoing clashing battle and commented:
"That tall one's going to lose!"
"Huh?"
Sanji frowned at Zoro's verdict, clearly disagreeing:
"Nonsense! The big fat one's going to lose!"
"What? Can't you see? The fat giant's attacks and strength are several levels above that tall one! Your training's still lacking…"
"What did you say!? Don't think you can talk nonsense just because you're stronger than me!"
"Bastard! You're asking for trouble, you damn chef!"
"Wanna fight? Don't think I'm the same me as before!"
Boom!
Without warning, a terrifying aura surged from Zoro, shaking even the battling giants in the distance.
His Conqueror's Haki flared, pressing toward Sanji.
Whoooosh!!!
Golden flames erupted from Sanji's body, colliding with Zoro's Conqueror's Haki in a dazzling display.
The two immense forces clashed, sending energy waves like lightning through the air around them.
Vivi, frozen in fear, could not comprehend the sudden shift from cordial calm to overwhelming tension.
Yet, seeing the swordsman and chef in action, she believed that if they fought seriously, Arabasta's rebellion could surely be quelled.
Such unimaginable power… it was truly beyond human comprehension!!!
…
The sky seemed to split in two under the overwhelming aura.
Clouds swirled, shrouding the island below.
"Yohohohoho~"
"Hey, stop it you two!"
Brook, the oldest of the crew, stepped between them as a peacemaker, calmly addressing both:
"Everyone's on the same side, why resort to fighting?"
"Ask this weak chef what he really wants first!"
Zoro slowly drew his sword, a cold glint flashing like it could cut the world itself, inspiring fear in anyone who saw it.
Yet, Sanji did not flinch.
His gourmet cells surged, a faint glow flickering over his body.
Even in his black suit, the energy radiating from his very being could not be hidden.
The tension escalated, with the sound of slicing air filling the space.
Brook, helpless as ever, could not separate the two fiery men.
The crew, however, treated it like entertainment, giving the pair space as if watching a thrilling show.
Seeing the two about to clash, Luffy shook his head:
"Alright, alright! Today's for fun, not fights. If you want to battle, wait until the training room later.
I order you both to switch to good moods and enjoy the island. Got it?"
After a tense pause, came two reluctant responses:
"Yes…"
"Yes…"
With Luffy's final word, Zoro and Sanji immediately calmed, as if nothing had happened.
Luffy sighed.
He did not even know when they started this strange habit.
Though they spoke fiercely, no one had ever actually seen them fight seriously.
Perhaps… this is what they call 'friendship', Luffy thought.
