The former site of the Goa Republic.
Though it was night, the sky shone with brilliant white light that blanketed the heavens.
The light radiated from Zoro's body, illuminating the entire world around him.
The sea churned and swirled, and under the glow of the blue light, it looked otherworldly and beautiful.
But the disturbance in the air didn't lessen with time, in fact, it intensified.
Under an invisible force, the seawater grew increasingly violent, and the whirlpool spun faster and faster.
Driven by extreme centrifugal force, the sea began to rise upward, centering around Zoro.
Soon, a towering vortex completely surrounded him. Only a dazzling, radiant glow piercing through the water's barrier revealed Zoro's position within.
As time passed, the vortex spun with ever-greater ferocity.
The rapid rotation created a vacuum of low pressure in the air, causing the seawater to boil, bubbling furiously with clouds of steam.
It was a scene filled with eerie, supernatural energy.
Water sprayed in all directions, and steam billowed up around the glowing figure.
Suddenly, the light on Zoro's body flared, brilliant and blinding, piercing through every trace of surrounding darkness.
Zzz!
In the next moment, the dazzling light vanished.
Time itself seemed to freeze.
Everything in the space came to a complete halt.
Then, deep within the distorted boundary of space, a single speck of blue light flickered.
From that light, a beam shot outward, lightning-fast, drawing a perfect arc in the air.
In mere moments, the beam completed a full circle, forming a glowing blue ring. Like a mystical seal, it locked the surrounding space in place.
The circular barrier didn't stop there.
It emitted wave after wave of spiritual light, illuminating the entire realm.
From point to line, from line to plane, and from plane, to a world.
The suspended vortex, frozen midair, suddenly began spinning once again.
But this time, it was no longer the same vortex, nor was this the same world.
Under the deep blue hue, the vortex that was once formed of seawater had transformed, somehow, into a swirling torrent of pure spiritual energy.
A complete spatial transformation.
Massive amounts of Mental Power particles, glowing a soft blue, surged toward Zoro's body.
In an instant, everything in this space, except for Zoro, vanished. The entire world turned into a realm of complete darkness.
The sea, the air, the sand, the sea life…
Gone. All of it, completely erased.
A nation's worth of matter dissolved, its essence condensed and channeled into Zoro's new form.
And just like that,
It was over.
Yet, the space did not fall quiet.
As if reacting to the return of air, strong hurricanes formed in the sky above.
As if feeling the absence of the sea, massive waves rose once more across the surface.
Wind and clouds surged violently across the horizon.

Meanwhile, in Zoro's mind,
He saw a glowing sphere of light suddenly plunge into his consciousness.
The world around him fell utterly silent.
His body felt heavy… then light… then heavy again…
Over and over, he cycled through this bizarre sensation, trapped in a strange loop.
Until,
A tremendous surge of energy flooded into him.
His body began to stabilize, becoming more solid. His Mental Power felt stronger, more focused.
Zoro knew,
The time had come.
His tightly shut eyes snapped open.
A sharp, sword-like gleam burst forth from them, so intense that the air in front of him seemed to freeze.
His green hair, short and unruly, remained unchanged. His loose-fitting, kimono-like green robe was styled after his master Koushirou, this was Zoro's image of a true swordsman.
At his waist hung three extraordinary Zanpakutō.
In that moment,
His presence exploded with raw dominance.
A powerful aura radiated from him, wild and free, as if he could split the heavens and the earth.
Standing tall in midair, Zoro placed one hand on his sword, gazing solemnly over the endless sea.
He stood with grace, firm, cool, unshakable.
He stood in midair...
Wait.
In midair…?
Huh?
"AHHH!"
A violent gust of wind swept through, and under the pull of gravity, Zoro wobbled and tumbled helplessly toward the sea below, swept away by the raging winds.
"Gurgle, blughghh!"
He hadn't had time to catch his breath, so his dramatic descent ended with him gulping down a huge mouthful of seawater as he was dragged deeper and deeper into the ocean by the swirling current.
─────────🏴☠️─────────
Some time later…
The sea finally calmed.
The morning sun slowly crept up from the distant horizon, casting a golden sheen over the water's surface like a warm, glistening coat.
Gentle ripples shimmered across the ocean. The surface was serene. Schools of fish and shrimp danced playfully in the shallow waters, their movements clear beneath the radiant sunlight.
It was truly a scene of tranquil beauty, like a poetic sunrise painting brought to life.
"Puh!"
Suddenly, a handsome black-haired youth broke the water's surface with a gasp.
In his arms, he cradled a muscular green-haired boy, unconscious and drenched.
Their sudden appearance added a splash of unexpected emotion to the idyllic seascape.
"Laboon, help me out~"
Luffy, still half-submerged, pulled out Laboon's Pokéball and activated it with a wave.
With a roar of waves, the massive island whale appeared before him.
Laboon blinked his big, innocent eyes and curiously studied the soggy figure in Luffy's arms.
"Oooh~?"
He let out a questioning cry, as if to ask: "Who's this?"
"Huh?"
Luffy blinked in realization, Laboon had never actually seen Zoro before.
Over the past two years, Luffy's other crewmates had long since learned about Zoro's existence.
But Laboon? He rarely surfaced, usually only brought out for a bit of fresh air by Brook. Even Luffy himself had seen Laboon only a handful of times.
Zoro? Not once.
"This is our crewmate. His name is Zoro, Roronoa Zoro!"
"Don't be fooled by how miserable he looks right now, he's incredibly strong!"
Luffy grinned, pried Zoro's soaked head upright, and pushed his face toward Laboon's wide eyes, like he was trying to make sure Laboon remembered him.
"Ooh~?"
Laboon let out another doubtful cry, clearly skeptical.
After all, the Zoro in front of him looked like a total shipwreck survivor, his clothes soaked and clinging to him, his green hair drooping over his face, his whole demeanor pitiful and bedraggled.
Even his face still showed traces of panic.
"…Alright, alright…"
Luffy chuckled awkwardly, unsure how to explain, and quickly changed the subject:
"Let us in already, will you?"
"Oh right, how's everyone from earlier doing? Are they okay?"
Remembering that Laboon had swallowed the entire Goa Kingdom earlier, Luffy asked curiously.
"Oooh! Oooh! Oooh!"
Laboon replied with a series of excited cries, as if to say, "Don't worry! I've got it handled!"
"Good, good! Thanks for the help!"
"Now let us in, being stuck in the water is seriously uncomfortable~"
A mysterious portal opened, and in the next second, Luffy and Zoro vanished into it.
Only Laboon remained, his massive form swimming joyfully across the sea, celebrating this long-overdue ocean adventure.
