It was a warning shot from Ruan Mei in her anger.
She was, after all, a researcher. If a matter could be resolved through negotiation and coercion, she preferred not to resort to force. But at the same time, she always reserved the right to use that power.
Dan Heng's combat instincts and his duty as a guard allowed him to sense the danger more quickly and sensitively. The Cloud-Piercer spear shot through the air! It accurately struck the petal, but Dan Heng was forced back half a step by the power entwined around the blossom. At the same time, a terrifying layer of frost condensed on the tip of his spear! Flames and heat became a tool in the woman's palm. Fire sprites and flame spirits seemed to answer her call, quickly melting the frost on Dan Heng's spear and incinerating the plum blossom, leaving not even ash behind!
