The first thing Seraphina noticed was that she wasn't in London anymore.

"Where am I?"

Seraphina turned to find a woman who looked exactly like the portrait she'd seen in Eleanor's private study—Lyra Moonwhisper, the last Queen before Elena. She wore robes that seemed woven from liquid starlight, and her eyes held the depth of someone who'd witnessed the rise and fall of civilizations.
