The intercepted communications changed everything.
Twenty minutes before they were supposed to leave for Pier 47, Sarah's equipment picked up a burst transmission that made Seraphina's blood run cold. Not from the warehouse district, but from much closer to home.
"They moved her," Sarah reported, her voice tight with professional urgency. "Helena's not at Pier 47. That was just the meeting location Victor wanted you to think was the endgame."
"Where is she?"
"Blackwood estate. The same place where this all started." Sarah pulled up new surveillance data, her screens showing thermal signatures and movement patterns around Victor's ancestral home. "They're using the pier meeting as a distraction while the real operation happens at the family compound."
Damon moved to study the thermal readings, his expression grim. "Classic misdirection. Send us chasing shadows in one location while they execute the actual plan somewhere else."
