Chapter 127 - Chapter 123.1 : Chu Xuan's Ability!!

The Team Battle — in truth, it was also a race that extended into the real world.

When Chu Xuan first entered the Lord God Space in the original story, he devised a meticulous plan.

He instructed Zheng Zha to carry with him the Lord God's hidden data sealed inside a dagger, along with a collection of advanced technological blueprints and a positioning device — all to be brought back to the real world.

Zheng Zha nearly lost his life completing that task.

But after his return to the Lord God Space, the effects began to show in reality.

Because of the blueprints he had delivered, the nation's technology advanced at a shocking pace within just a few years.

Meanwhile, in this timeline, Chu Xuan — through observing all that Yujin had done — reached an astonishing deduction.

He realized that the Lord God Space might very well be connected to the real world itself.

From that discovery, he drew a chilling conclusion: their true objective wasn't simply survival — it was to influence the progress of potential enemies within the Lord God Space.

Five hours passed in a blur.

As the first light of dawn crept across the horizon, an eight-person squad arrived at the battlefield.

The man leading them wore wooden clogs, three katana fastened at his waist.

His head was shaven clean at the top, leaving only strips of hair along the sides — a look that made him resemble a traditional Japanese samurai.

He raised his Reincarnation Wristwatch and checked the mission details.

"Hahaha! Three team-versus-team battles!"

He grinned, eyes glinting with excitement.

"Our mission is to play the role of the final Ghostface killers! Interesting… very interesting!"

As he spoke, a man on his left — clad in ancient oni warrior armor and wielding a katana — let out a low laugh.

"Tanaka Jūsuke, are we keeping the same wager as before?" he asked.

"One thousand reward points for every head? Last time you lost three thousand points to me. What's wrong? Don't tell me you're too scared to gamble again?"

"Humph!"

The three-sword samurai, Tanaka Jūsuke, gave a sharp smile.

"Nakamura Jinta, don't get ahead of yourself. Last time, I hadn't yet exchanged for my Three-Sword Style ultimate — Tiger Hunt! Now that I've mastered it, do you still think you can beat me?"

Nakamura Jinta drew his katana, the edge glimmering under the pale morning sun.

"My Oni Warrior Enhancement is far stronger than your Three-Sword Style. Even with that new technique of yours, you'll never match me! If you've got the courage — how about raising the stakes? Fifteen hundred points per head!"

Tanaka's face twisted with fury.

"Two thousand points! I'll start killing right now!"

"Enough!"

The shout cut sharply through their bickering.

Among the eight, another man — katana at his side, standing beside a female member— spoke sternly.

"Don't be reckless. We arrived less than a day later than the other two teams. The power difference isn't that wide yet."

He paused, fingertips brushing over the faint runes glowing along his cheek.

"Since returning from the Legend of Gods and Demons world, my Genetic Lock has reached Stage Three… But lately, I keep feeling something — as if there's a voice deep inside calling my name."

He exhaled slowly.

"I don't know what it is. But this isn't the time to act rashly. We need information first. Only then do we strike."

Beside him, a girl with a childish face and mischievous eyes nudged his arm playfully with her elbow.

"Miyata Kuraki-kun! Let's do as you say!"

Miyata Kuraki nodded.

"Ikumi, start the psychic scan. Let's see if any of them are psychic controllers."

The woman with the surname Fujimoto nodded.

"Sure!"

At the police station.

Chu Xuan had already analyzed most of the North Polar Team's situation. He used partial false information from Dick Brookss of the North Polar Team, combined with Yujin's firsthand observations and descriptions.

Yujin watched Chu Xuan work and felt a bead of sweat roll down his forehead.

In truth, he was still hiding the fact that he knew the captain of the North Polar Team had Ice Fruit enhancements.

But Chu Xuan had already written down that the captain had a second-level gene lock and B-level enhancements.

There was a high chance his abilities followed the ice attribute route—possibly Ice Fruit, Snow Fruit, or even Ice Mage powers—a whole list of possible enhancements.

The scariest part was that the probability of it being the Ice Fruit was 7.31%. Small as it seemed, it was the highest probability.

This analysis was almost infinitely close to the truth.

After this round of work, Chu Xuan's reputation as the "Scriptwriter Chu Xuan" was fully confirmed.

"Based on the current data, this is all I can conclude," Chu Xuan said, handing the notebook to Yujin.

Yujin took it with an awkward smile.

"Ha ha… thanks for the hard work~"

Chu Xuan pulled out his communicator.

"Hello?"

On the other side, Gonniel's voice came through, frost-laden.

"This is Gonniel, captain of the North Polar Team. Speak."

Chu Xuan's expression was calm and unreadable.

"What were the results of your psychic (mental) controller search?"

Gonniel glanced at their long-haired teammate, Bev Field, then exchanged a look with Dick Brooks. After receiving a nod, he replied, "Our psychic controller is fully using a psychic shield because—"

"No need to explain."

Chu Xuan's sharp mind didn't need excuses. He already knew that the North Polar Team was hiding their abilities, hoping the East Sea team's psychic controllers would locate their position.

Then they could either observe from afar, gather information, or even use the Central Continent as a shield. That was clearly their next move.

But Chu Xuan had already thought about how to handle this.

"In three minutes, my teammate Yujin will fly into the sky. This will help estimate whether the East Sea team has anti-air capabilities. That's the first step."

"Second, once Yujin appears, he will attract the East Sea team's attention. At that moment, your psychic controller should be able to quickly gather their basic information. I need their numbers. If possible, I also need their gender ratio, body types, and appearances. The more detailed, the better. I will then make a rough calculation of their overall strength."

"To prove the accuracy of my calculations, I'll first give a brief overview of your team's situation. Gonniel, enhanced by the Ice Fruit. Mavis, a ranged attacker. Albert Allen, has a magical network affinity."

On the other end of the line, the people from North Polar Team were stunned. Dick Brooks finally understood what kind of person the Sage (Strategist) from the Central Continent Team really was.

"You can actually figure out our team's situation with eighty percent false information?" Dick Brooks wiped his sweat and snatched the communicator from Gonniel.

"Central Continent's Sage, we will fully cooperate with you. But you must tell me—what exactly is your captain's enhancement path?"

Chu Xuan spoke calmly, "A trash enhancement route. It's from a manga I haven't read, with overall strength reaching early Stage Three of the Gene Lock."

After saying this, Yujin's expression turned awkward.

Even though he didn't know why it was so difficult, he couldn't reach Stage Two, let alone Stage Three.

Chu Xuan remained expressionless and continued, "Don't worry. Given the Farming Team's involvement, you should be able to analyze our team's situation and get a result."

Satisfied, North Polar Team's Dick Brooks nodded heavily.
