Seeing the massive tsunami rising like a city wall, Natsui remembered that in the movie's ending, a tsunami was also triggered. To save the city and its people, Latios sacrificed his own life, using all his power to resolve the crisis. He ultimately became a new Soul Dew, replacing the corrupted one to continue protecting the city.
Now that he was here, he had to be able to do something.
He had to prevent the tragedy from repeating itself.
Thinking carefully, for a legendary Pokémon like Latios to have to use all his strength and sacrifice his life to disperse the tsunami, it could only mean that he had been badly injured and drained of too much power by the device.
Even with Latias's help, their combined power was still limited.
But what if a Pokémon with mystical powers, skilled in controlling water, were to help?
Could that change the outcome?
For a situation like this, it would be best if the guardian of the seas, Lugia, were present. Unfortunately, although Natsui had dealt with several Lugia before and knew they would be willing to help, they were all too far away.
Fortunately, Natsui had another legendary Pokémon on hand who was an expert in this field.
Taking an Ultra Ball from his pouch, Natsui tossed it lightly in his hand and whispered to it, "Now, it's our turn to save this city."
Not far away, Latias and Latios had also noticed the tsunami.
They exchanged a look and then flew into the sky, circling the top of the Sun Tower. From there, they could better appreciate the scale of the tsunami and its destructive power.
Latios floated in mid-air, breathing heavily. He and Latias could have easily fled from this tsunami. However, whether it was because they had lived here for so long or because of their innate nature, he was unwilling to watch the tsunami destroy this city.
As if he had made up his mind, he was about to fly toward the giant wave when he suddenly heard a man's voice from behind.
"Latios, don't rush. I have an idea we can try!"
Hearing the voice, he quickly turned and saw a man standing at the very top of the Sun Tower.
He certainly recognized this man. Although he didn't know his name, he was the young man his sister had brought to the secret garden.
Beside him, a Dragonite was hovering, having clearly just flown the man up there.
In fact, when they first met during the day, he had sensed that there was something unusual about this man. It wasn't about his demeanor; rather, he had sensed two powerful auras from his waist.
Although these auras were not of his kind, he knew they must belong to other legendary Pokémon, just like him.
He gave a weak cry to Natsui. This time, even without Gengar to translate, Natsui roughly understood what he meant.
Opening the Ultra Ball, a flash of blue light revealed Suicune at his side.
Stroking Suicune's long horn, Natsui turned to Latios. "This giant wave is a disaster we must face together, so you don't have to bear it alone. My Pokémon here will help you."
Latios and Latias looked at Suicune. From this noble and elegant Pokémon, they could indeed feel a vibrant power.
Pointing forward, Natsui continued, "The wave is coming mainly from one direction. I'm guessing you plan to fly above it and destroy its structure to make the part heading for the city disappear, right?"
Latios nodded lightly. It was the only way he could think of.
"That method can work," Natsui nodded. "I plan to use the same method. But with your current strength, I'm afraid you'll have to pay a certain price to achieve it. Let's have Suicune act with you."
With that, Natsui waved his hand, called Dragonite over, and jumped back onto its back.
"Let's discuss the details on the way. Time is short. While the tsunami is still far away, let's get to the front and prepare!"
Latios and Latias had no objections. They followed behind Dragonite, flying forward together. Suicune leaped from the high tower, lightly touching the rooftops of various buildings as it bounded toward the sea.
At the protective railing on the plaza's coast, Ash and the others looked up, watching Dragonite carry Natsui past them with Latias and Latios. They placed all their hopes on him.
Lorenzo and Bianca, watching Suicune leap past them, now realized that the young man had also caught such a powerful Pokémon.
Only Erika watched Natsui with a worried expression. This was an extremely dangerous undertaking, and she didn't know how he would help the city overcome this crisis.
The sea breeze at night was a bit cold, not to mention Natsui was still soaked from the seawater.
The seabed below passed in the blink of an eye. After just a dozen seconds, he had already traveled a great distance from Alto Mare.

Suicune had also run to a position below them. Latias and Latios glanced down, then nodded. Without further hesitation, they both unleashed their full power.
Their bodies suddenly erupted in a brilliant white light. Merging together like a small sun, they flew straight toward the giant wave.
At the same time, Suicune also acted.
The reason it is Suicune, rather than another choice, is its unparalleled ability to control water. This is why Natsui dared to send it out.
After gathering its power for a moment, Suicune opened its mouth, and a thick beam of energy shot out, flying in the same direction as Latias and Latios.
The two energy beams, one from the sky and the other from the ground, both flew toward the same destination, hitting the same spot on the wave at the same time.
With a deafening roar, the point of impact on the wave exploded as if a bomb had gone off, and a massive gap formed in the wave.
