After a tour around the city, Rossi finally stopped the boat by the bank of a narrow canal.
He had just taken Natsui and his group around for a while, visiting basically all the sights. At least from the waterway, there was nothing left to see.
Watching Natsui and the others go ashore, Rossi smiled and pointed to a nearby restaurant. "The pancakes there are the best in Alto Mare. You should try them!"
"Thank you for taking the time to show us around the city. We really appreciate it," Misty said on behalf of the group. Since Rossi had invited her, it was most fitting for her to express their gratitude.
"Not at all," Rossi said, waving his hand dismissively. "We people from Alto Mare are very hospitable. Besides, having the race champion on my boat is a great honor. Well then, I hope you enjoy the rest of your trip!"
They waved goodbye to Rossi. Watching him leave, Natsui couldn't help but think that although they hadn't known him for long and his personality seemed a bit frivolous, he was actually a pretty good person.
But Natsui didn't know that Rossi's initial reason for inviting Misty onto the boat was because he found her young and beautiful, hoping for a chance to get to know her. This was especially true after he saw Erika, who he thought was stunning!
The moment Natsui had seen Rossi trying to be witty and humorous was precisely when he was trying to win them over.
But after they got on the boat, he realized that both Misty and Erika's hearts belonged to Natsui. It was clear they were taken, so Rossi completely gave up on the idea.
From this point of view, the fact that he didn't keep pestering them after seeing the pretty girls showed that Rossi was indeed a decent person.
After Rossi left, the group went to the specialty restaurant he had mentioned and bought several different flavors of pancakes to try.

But just then, Ash looked left and right and suddenly realized his Pikachu was gone!
"Huh? Where's Pikachu?"
The group helped look for him. They finally found Pikachu at a corner, standing by a fountain in a plaza, face to face with a teenage girl.
"Pikachu!" Ash ran over and smiled. "What's this? Made a new friend already?"
From a distance, Natsui looked at the girl's face, and his eyes narrowed.
He actually had a deep impression of the city of Alto Mare from watching the movie. Especially after seeing Ash on the cruise ship, he had guessed that the plot was about to be triggered.
Now, seeing the girl's face, he recognized her at once. It was Latias in disguise!
At the same time, many memories he had forgotten slowly resurfaced in his mind.
As he got closer, Natsui looked carefully. He saw that the girl Latias had transformed into had short red hair with two strange little braids. She was quite pretty. Looking at her clothes, she wore a green T-shirt, white shorts, and a pair of pink boots over black stockings. She looked no different from an ordinary girl.
The girl turned on the fountain's tap. As clear water flowed from the pipe, Pikachu opened his mouth and drank a few sips. Only then did Ash realize that his Pikachu had been thirsty, which was why he had run off without a word.
"Thank you," Ash said to the girl.
However, the girl said nothing. She just circled Ash a few times, then leaned in close to his face to look at him for a while. Then, leaving Ash completely bewildered, she ran toward the nearby canal.
Misty walked up to Ash, looking at the girl's back, also clearly confused.
"Why didn't she say anything?"
Just then, a speedboat suddenly came down the river. On the boat were two fashionably dressed women. Because they were too far away, Natsui and the others couldn't hear what they said to Latias. They only saw the girl who was Latias run away in a panic. The two fashionable women threw out their Poké Balls, released their Pokémon, and began to chase after Latias!
Latias ran frantically into a small alley, and the two Pokémon followed without hesitation.
Before the group could react, Pikachu had already dashed off. When Natsui and the others realized what was happening, they exchanged a look and quickly ran in the direction Latias had gone.
The two fashionable women had released an Espeon and an Ariados. The two Pokémon caught up with Latias on a small bridge. The Espeon first used its psychic power to envelop Latias, making her float in the air. Then, the Ariados spat out a large amount of silk, binding Latias's hands and feet together.
When Natsui and the others arrived, they saw this exact scene. Under the bridge, the two fashionable women had also arrived in their speedboat.
"What are you doing!?"
Perhaps because Latias had just helped turn on the water, or perhaps out of sympathy for the victim, Ash immediately started pulling at the silk threads, trying to free Latias.
The two fashionable women watched him calmly and smiled. "We're just helping this girl get dressed up."
"Dressed up!?" Ash yelled. "You call this getting dressed up? Can't you see she's not happy about it!?"
While Ash was speaking, Natsui was sizing up the two fashionable women.
They were both around twenty-four or twenty-five years old. One had wavy blonde hair and wore a pink crop top. The other had short silver hair and wore a red crop top. They had exquisite makeup on, wore bracelets on their wrists and necklaces around their necks. They gave off a stylish yet somewhat delinquent vibe.
Although he didn't remember their names, he knew they were very famous female thieves.
The silver-haired woman leaned back and said in a careless tone, "Is that so? But we're happy to do it!"
The blonde woman chimed in, "That's right, I'm very happy to do it too."
Ash seemed very angry at their flippant tone. He quickly pulled off the silk threads wrapped around Latias and then shouted at the two women, "What do you want? Why are you treating a girl like this!?"
"Really, you shouldn't use such a rude tone when talking to ladies," the silver-haired woman said with a cold snort. "Ariados, teach this rude and meddlesome brat a lesson!"
